Air France:Air France was formed in 1933 from a merger of a number of existing airlines, both passenger and cargo services. The airline was the national flag carrier for seven decades before merging with the Dutch airline, KLM. Economy Light

Economy Standard

  • 1 x carry-on bag and 1 x accessory (weighing no more than 12kg).
  • 1 x checked bag(23kg max).
  • Seat Selection at check-in.
  • Tickets are non-refundable but can be changed for a fee plus the difference in ticket(if applicable).
  • Snacks and beverages available at a price.

Economy Flex

  • Guaranteed seat at the front of the cabin
  • Priority boarding.
  • 1 x checked bag(23kg max).
  • 1 x carry-on bag and 1 x accessory (weighing no more than 12kg)
  • On the day of travel you can leave early or later if nessecary (subject to availability).
  • Tickets are refundable and can be changed for the difference of the preferred flight.


  • Bigger, more comfortable seats.
  • Priority boarding.
  • A complimentary meal and drink service throughout the flight.
  • Access to the airport lounges.
  • 2 x checked bags (23 kg each).
  • 2 x hand baggage and an accessory.
  • Tickets are refundable and changeable, for both before or after departure. If the price of the new ticket is higher, the fare readjustment will be applied at no extra charge.

International Long Haul: Flights from outside Europe

Can I Choose my Own Seat?

Choosing your seat depends on what ticket you've bought. If you have purchased an economy light ticket then you would need to pay a fee to choose an exact seat otherwise you will be allocated one. Other ticket types such an Economy Flex and Business, you can choose your seat free of charge.

Traveling with Children on Air France

  • Children under 2: They can travel on a parents lap for a discount of 90%. If you would like them to have a seat then you can purhcase a 2 -11 year old ticket.
  • Children two or over: can benefit from a 20% discount for short-haul flights and up to 33% for long haul flights.
  • If you have reserved a seat for your child then they are entitled to the same luggage allowance as an adult.
  • Foldable buggies (they must be in a carry case) and car seats can go in the hold for no extra charge.
  • Children under 18 can travel unaccompanied but the airline must informed prior to the flight.

Is there assistance if traveling with a disability?

There is assistance for people with disabilities, Air France ask that all customers needing assistance contact the airline at least 48 hours before the flight or at the time of booking the ticket. Air France have partnered with Saphir - an independent agent that helps organize help for those who need it.
