Sweden, famous for stylish design, meatballs and a certain furniture shop is a top destination for a vacation to Europe. Sweden's capital, Stockholm, is the cultural hub of the country and is a popular place for many travelers—especially those looking to experience that laidback Scandinavian vibe.
Stockholm has one major international airport, Arlanda where both international and domestic flights fly into. Getting into the city center is easy due to the Flygbussarna bus that runs from the city center to the airport every 20 minutes and the Arland Express train takes just 20 minutes to complete the journey.
Other cities such as Gothenburg, also have major airports that receive international flights. Landvetter—the main airport to serve the area—is well connected to the main city by bus.
Furthermore, traveling in Sweden by public transport is simple as bus and train options are plentiful. Trains companies such as SJ, provide trains for major routes between cities. If you're planning on visiting a neighboring country then there are lots of bus options to take you to Copenhagen or Oslo.
