There are several direct daily Berlin to Paris flights departing every day of the week, which take about 1 hour and 50 minutes to complete the 878 km journey. Both a budget airline and national carrier Air France service the route, offering travelers a range of departure times throughout the day. Indirect flights are also a possibility.
National carrier AirFrance and budget airline easyJet are the airlines most frequently covering the direct Berlin to Paris flights. KLM and EuroWings also service indirect flights from Berlin to the French capital.
Berlin to Paris flights should take approximately one hour and fifty minutes. Direct flights can be achieved in as little as 1 hour and 45 minutes, but in any case, if there are no delays, the flight duration should not exceed 2 hours.
Passengers can usually expect upward of ten direct Berlin to Paris flights every day and at least a handful on the quieter days. There are a variety of departure times available during each day; this would usually render it unnecessary to opt for an indirect flight.
Departure airport: Flights to Paris depart from one of two Berlin airports: Berlin Schoenefeld or Berlin Tegel. Tegel is closer to the city center and can be reached easily by the TXL bus as well as a taxi (be aware there is a taxi airport toll charge to consider). Schoenefeld can be reached by the Sbahn overground train that takes you directly to the airport. Schoenefeld is a small airport, but still offers duty-free shopping and places to buy snacks, coffee and alcoholic drinks. Tegel offers a larger variety of dining and shopping opportunities.
Arrival airport: Flights land at either Paris Charles de Gaulle or Orly airports. From the former, travelers can use the regional line RER B or SNCF main lines to reach Paris city by train. There's also the Paris-Charles de Gaulle CDGVAL shuttle. The ORLYVAL shuttle train links Orly airport to the RER B station, and there are other train as well as coach and bus connections to the city available. Expect a choice of cafes and shopping outlets at both airports, as well as free Wifi.
