The fastest flights from Paris to Florence are Vueling departures from Orly, which take one hour and 40 minutes to complete the 886 km journey south-east to the Tuscan capital. Air France services from Paris Charles De Gaulle take five or ten minutes longer.
There are between five and eight daily direct Paris to Florence flights, with the greatest frequency on Sundays and the fewest connections on Wednesdays. Air France offers four to six flights daily from Charles De Gaulle. Vueling has a daily flight from Orly with two on Fridays and Sundays. Arrival airport: Florence's Peretola Airport is located 6 km north-west of the historic center, with regular airport shuttle buses providing a 25-minute connection to the central rail station. Passenger facilities at the compact terminal include cafes, a wine bar and duty-free shopping.
