I travelled on the Railjet RJ 1030 from Vienna Central Station to Prague Central Station and was absolutely thrilled! The departure from Vienna Central Station was punctual and relaxed. The train staff were friendly and helpful, so I felt at ease right from the start. My seat was very comfortable, with plenty of legroom and a power socket at my seat - perfect for working or simply relaxing while travelling. The journey through the picturesque countryside between Austria and the Czech Republic was a real highlight. I found the quiet atmosphere on the train and the free wifi, which worked reliably, particularly pleasant. I was also impressed by the on-board restaurant: the choice was varied and the food delicious. After exactly four hours, we arrived at Prague Central Station on time. I arrived rested and satisfied and would choose this connection again at any time. For comfort, service and reliability

I travelled to Prague on the RJ 256 - a really pleasant journey overall. The children's area was a huge plus: space to play, less stress with the little one and fellow travellers were also relaxed. Train was on time, clean but wifi didn't work well most of the time. The only downside: the on-board restaurant was very busy and there was a long wait. And the journey takes quite a while - you do notice that it's just under 5 hours. Nevertheless: definitely recommendable with a child, more relaxed than travelling by car or plane.

I travelled from Vienna to Prague on the RJ 70 and was thrilled all round! The journey was very pleasant and the train was modern and clean. I particularly liked the comfortable seats with plenty of legroom and the power sockets at every seat so that I could work without any problems. The on-board staff were friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant car was delicious and reasonably priced. The journey was punctual and smooth, and the views along the route were beautiful. For me, the Railjet is the best and most comfortable way to travel between Vienna and Prague - I would take it again any time!

IconBroken wifi
I travel very often with the Westbahn, but this time I have to say that it wasn't as good as last time because for some reason you couldn't connect to the wifi. On the other hand, the toilets were still clean, the staff were nice and it was again quick and easy to make a reservation. The train always arrives on time and had comfortable seats. The sockets at the seats work, and the volume of the announcements also, but because of the wifi only 3 out of 5 stars.

I would like to evaluate my train journey from Vienna to Prague. The train was state of the art and offered good wifi and power sockets, which I was pleased with and found convenient. The seats were also extremely comfortable, which also added to my comfort. Unfortunately, the atmosphere on the train was not pleasant. It was very noisy and crowded, which made the journey uncomfortable. Nevertheless, I was overall satisfied with the comfort of the train, as I could easily block out the noise through my headphones.

The journey from Vienna to Prague went without complications and was quite relaxed. The train was in good general technical condition, although the toilets could have been a little cleaner. Otherwise, the train was clean. It was a historic train, which I found quite nice. The comfort was excellent, as the seats were soft and extremely comfortable. As far as I know, there were no delays.

My journey from Vienna to Prague was a very pleasant and positive experience. The ticket was reasonably priced for this route. The journey time was also relatively manageable at just under three hours. The train itself was, let's say, historical. However, I found it quite interesting and something different. Technically, it looked good and the cleanliness left nothing to be desired. There was also a bistro on board, where I treated myself to a delicious coffee.

My journey by train from Vienna to Prague was characterised by positive impressions. Firstly, I have to say that we particularly enjoyed the picturesque scenery. The train did not have any delays during the journey.

You can easily book tickets for the journey online. I bought tickets for seat 15 in carriage 3. The staff were very nice and the journey was very pleasant, as were the seats on the train. The train was very clean inside and the toilets were very hygienic. The free wifi worked very well, as did the free power sockets. As I travelled to Praga without changing trains, it took me about six hours. The train departed on time from Vienna. The journey itself was very quiet without any disruptions, and it was also very relaxed on the train itself. As always, the price-performance ratio is excellent!

My review of the train journey from Vienna to Prague: The journey was absolutely great! The train was very fast and travelled at regular intervals, which made planning easier. Overall an excellent train journey - 5 stars for that! One of the best train journeys I've ever had.

I was really impressed with the train journey from Vienna to Prague. The seats were very comfortably upholstered and invited you to linger. The journey took 4 hours with one change. The train journey from Vienna to Prague was a real dream. The train journey really flies by, especially as the seats are very comfortable and the surroundings are very quiet and you can relax very well. I booked the ticket online directly from Flixbus. The journey was from Vienna to Prague. It was supposed to start at 23:25, but the bus was more than punctual and was ready to leave 10 minutes earlier. This wasn't a problem for me, as I was there 10 minutes earlier anyway. The bus driver was very nice, he loaded my luggage (a suitcase) into the compartment provided and offered me a bottle of water, which I gratefully accepted. We set off on time at 11.25pm. I sat at the very back by the window. I shared the row with another passenger, which wasn't a problem as there was enough room for both of us. The bus driver had a very pleasant driving style and I slept for 2 hours. When I asked him if we could take a short break and I could go to the toilet, he complied. He stopped at a rest area and I was able to go to the toilet, which I thought was great. Thanks to the comfortable seats and the wifi that the bus offered, I watched my series. It was very quiet throughout the bus and everyone behaved respectfully, which made the journey more pleasant. Afterwards, the bus driver gave me a few tips on what to look out for in Prague and what to see. I was absolutely delighted with the service. I paid a good price for the ticket, so in my opinion it was a great deal. But I'm not used to anything else from FlixBus. I can absolutely recommend this journey!
Advantages
IconLuggage transport
IconEnvironmental friendliness
Disadvantages
IconShort changeover
IconNo assistance in Prague
I also travelled from Vienna to Prague as part of a trip from Vienna to Berlin with Deutsche Bahn's very cheap Europe Special. The plan was to first take the EC 102 to Wroclaw and then the EC 276 to Prague. The changeover was very tightly calculated at three minutes and the delayed EC 102 was no longer available. So I had to wait almost an hour in Wroclaw and was travelling for four or five hours instead of the planned four or five hours. The journey itself was okay, the seating comfort was good and it was easy to carry luggage. The toilets were clean and adequately sized, and the staff on the train were friendly. I can't say the same for the station in Prague, where I was simply refused assistance in accordance with passenger rights - the connection on the booked route would have been too tight.
Advantages
IconGood price
IconPleasant journey
Disadvantages
IconLong journey
IconNot a clean train
I travelled to Prague on the RJ 1030 during the Christmas holidays. The journey was relatively carefree and relaxed. The staff were nice and polite. Only the interior of the train could be improved as it was not very clean like ICE trains. The price was very good as was this longer journey even though I had not booked several weeks in advance. The train arrived on time. I didn't have to change trains and was able to go to the bistro during the journey, but I only grabbed a coffee there. The wifi worked and was faster than I was used to on ICE trains.
Advantages
IconCleanliness and hygiene
IconComfortable seats with sufficient equipment
IconNo changeover necessary
Disadvantages
IconDelay of 25 minutes
IconHardly any space for luggage due to high capacity utilisation
IconUnpleasant odours
IconNo staff available and no ticket inspection carried out
The train from Vienna to Prague was very full, so there was hardly any space for luggage. It was also very noisy on the train and the air inside was unpleasant. The train was already 10 minutes late when it set off. It then took 25 minutes to get to Prague. I hardly saw any staff here and there were no ticket checks. Otherwise, the seats were comfortable and there was plenty of equipment. The train was clean and the toilets were reasonably hygienic. Just as well I didn't have to change trains.
