IconFull luggage compartments
The train journey from Cologne to Paris was a great experience. The seats were very comfortable and there were sockets for charging mobile phones and laptops. Unfortunately, the luggage compartments were a bit small, so there was hardly any space for luggage. The train staff were friendly and very helpful. The journey was on time and fast. There was a beautiful view. Overall, a very great experience and highly recommended.

Cons
IconSlight delay
The train journey from Cologne to Paris was an absolute pleasure. The train interior was modern and comfortable, with spacious seats and a pleasant atmosphere. The cleanliness on the train was exemplary. The price-performance ratio was reasonable for the quality offered. Although the train was slightly delayed, this was communicated transparently and the arrival time was still acceptable.

Dear Sir or Madam, I took a train journey with DB from Cologne to Paris. First of all, some good aspects about the journey. The wifi connection was excellent. Also, the train arrived in Paris very on time. The price of the ticket was expensive, but it was very great compared to plane tickets. However, there was a lot of need to change trains. The staff was also rather unfriendly. The ticket control was also problematic, as the staff were also impatient. Unfortunately, no attention was paid to hygiene. The toilets and seats were not really clean. Overall, a satisfactory trip.

I can highly recommend this train journey to everyone. It was pleasant and arrived at my destination on time, even though it was late. The staff were very friendly and helped me with my problems. The food was also very tasty and lukewarm. I also liked the hygiene as the toilets and the seats and tables were very clean. Also, the other passengers were quiet and respectful.
Pros
IconVery fast
Cons
IconLittle space
I took the train from Cologne to Paris in the summer. It was a very pleasant journey and it went very quickly. Of course, a big plus is that you can't get stuck in traffic jams. I would really do it again and again because it's much less complicated than going by car.
Pros
IconVery fast
IconQuiet
IconCosy seats
Cons
IconA little cool
IconSpeaker difficult to understand
IconSockets broken
My train journey from Cologne to Paris was generally relaxed. The train arrived and departed on time. The friendly crew were helpful and helped me find my seat. Wifi was available and fast, which I really liked. There were 2 sockets at my seat, but unfortunately they didn't work for me. The train travelled through to Paris without changing trains, which made the journey easier. The seats were very comfortable and large. There was also an on-board restaurant, which I personally didn't use, but the food was highly recommended to me by fellow travellers. The toilet could have been better, it was very small and had poor facilities (there was no toilet paper left). The price was a bit steep, but the train was very reliable and I was in Paris in just over 3 hours. Overall, the journey was satisfactory (fast, quiet and reliable). I can recommend it.
Pros
IconFast and convenient
IconComfortable and rested
IconBeautiful ambience
IconStress-free
IconFair price
Cons
IconBook early, otherwise there is little choice of places
IconDepartments quickly fully booked
IconFour-seater with table quickly booked out
IconIn standard, only slow wifi
Travelling on the Eurostar to Paris is very relaxed, with very pleasant facilities such as wifi, with only around 3 MBit in the standard booking, and two sockets per pair of seats. The journey is very quiet and outside and driving noises are kept to a minimum - very stress-free. The on-board bistro offers a very nice selection for an entertaining journey and good quality and acceptable prices. The on-board staff are multilingual, very friendly and provide regular updates on current situations and stations. The toilets are typically small and cramped and have a strong odour. The punctual arrival and journey is the biggest argument for travelling to Paris by train, especially as a family you are very relaxed on the journey thanks to the excellent public transport. I will do it again with my family. You can't get from Cologne to Paris by car in 3 hours and 20 minutes in such a stress-free and cheap way.

IconGood Internet
IconHigh ride comfort
Cons
IconMinimal delay

The Eurostar journey was very good value for money. We had a slight delay of 10 minutes on the journey from Cologne to Paris, but it is still highly recommended. Nice staff, comfortable seats and a very comfortable journey. Highly recommended, gladly again!

The journey to Paris was very pleasant, with very good and cosy seats. The reservation worked great and the wifi worked great too. The journey time is very short and the staff were very nice at the check-in and helped you a lot. Unfortunately, our train was a little late and very full, and a little more expensive in comparison. But highly recommended!

Overall, I enjoyed the trip from Cologne to Paris. The price of the journey was reasonable and fair, which made the trip attractive for me. The punctuality of the trains was commendable, which made my journey planning easier and reduced stress. The staff on board were friendly and courteous, which increased my comfort during the journey. The wifi worked reliably, allowing me to stay online during the journey, which was very important to me. Unfortunately, there were some areas that could be improved. The hygiene could have been better, which detracted slightly from the overall experience. The comfort of the seats and the noise level during the journey were average. There were several transfers which made the journey difficult. Overall, the journey from Cologne to Paris was a positive experience.

I had been travelling by train for about 3 hours and found the journey relatively relaxed. It was very quiet in my compartment and I found my seat comfortable and completely adequate. We arrived on time at our destination station, Paris Nord. The conductor was very friendly to me and the train was very well cleaned. The toilet was also very well cleaned and only stank a little. I didn't have to change trains.

I travelled from Cologne to Paris and have to say that the journey wasn't too bad. The punctuality and the really good technical condition of the train were commendable. It was clean on board and the service was very good. The journey only took a short two and a half hours. The air conditioning ensured pleasant and cosy room temperatures. The seats were comfortable, ergonomic and therefore very cosy.
Pros
IconSimple booking
Cons

What I liked about this journey was that the ticket was cheap and easy to book. I also liked the fact that I didn't have to change trains. But I was very annoyed that I had to wait 20 minutes for the train in very cold weather. I also found it bad that the toilets were dirty and the wifi didn't work.
Pros
IconNo change
Cons
IconDirty toilets
I really liked the booking as it was very easy to do online. It was also great not having to change trains and the ticket was quite cheap. I also thought the staff were excellent. However, I found the toilet very dirty and there was no toilet paper.
Pros

IconNice staff
IconClean train
Cons
IconToilet very dirty and very smelly
The journey took a good 3 hours and I didn't have to change trains. The seats were quite comfortable and the train didn't smell and wasn't very noisy. The conductor was friendly to me. Power sockets were available and we arrived at our destination station Paris Nord on time. Unfortunately, what wasn't quite so nice was that one toilet was very smelly and no longer clean. However, I was able to switch to another toilet, which was clean. Overall, I was very satisfied with the journey.

Cons
IconWIFI

This journey was one of the worst I have travelled on Deutsche Bahn. I got on and I was greeted rudely by staff. I don't know what problem they had with me, but they definitely had a problem with me. Then I was asked for my ticket, which was normal. I sat down in my seat, all went well, I tried to connect to the wifi and it wouldn't work. When I had to go to the loo after 45 minutes, I saw that the toilets hadn't been cleaned and there was toilet paper, so I went out and didn't use it. The price was relatively reasonable and the punctuality of the train was also reasonable. As I often travel with Deutsche Bahn, I know that this is just an isolated incident, but I would still give the whole journey two out of five stars.
Pros
IconSuper fast ride
Cons
IconA little expensive in terms of price
I travelled on a so-called Eurostar 9450 for the first time, which I had never seen before. It was a really nice and clean train and I arrived in Paris in record time. I think it was about 3-3.5 hours and I was there. The service was super nice and everything was fine except the price was a bit much for me. But it was all worth it for me, so I'm satisfied!
