The train journey was very pleasant overall. The toilets were clean and were checked during the journey. There was wifi, which also worked well. The volume in the carriage was low, ideal for reading or working. The connection was the best option for my route. The price was fine. The only downside was that the seats seemed a little saggy and didn't offer quite as much support on longer journeys.

The train journey from Cologne to Frankfurt was a pleasant experience overall. The relaxed atmosphere was noticeable as soon as we boarded the train. The modern, clean compartments offered comfortable seating and plenty of space, even with larger luggage. Throughout the journey, the train staff were friendly and attentive, making you feel valued as a traveller. A positive aspect to emphasise was the pleasantly quiet atmosphere on the train. The wifi worked reliably. The train arrived in Frankfurt on time. Overall, I found the connection to be a modern and stress-free way of travelling between the two cities

I booked the journey together with my flight to the USA, as I first had to travel from Cologne to Frankfurt. I can actually only say good things about this journey. The train was very punctual and we also arrived on time, which was very important so that I could still catch my plane. The only small disadvantage was that the train was very crowded, but thanks to my reservation I still had a seat.

The journey was fine, but with a few flaws. The train was overcrowded and I had to search for my seat for a long time. The wifi didn't work, although it was advertised. At least the train was clean and the staff were friendly. For a shorter journey it was acceptable, but for longer journeys I would wish for more comfort.

Overall, the train journey was quite pleasant. I particularly liked being able to see out of the window a lot during the journey, the scenery was really beautiful. The seats were also comfortable and I had plenty of legroom. However, the disadvantage was that the train stopped for a long time at one stop, which meant we were a little late. However, it was relatively quiet on the train, which provided a good opportunity to relax or read. Another advantage was the availability of power sockets at the seat, which allowed me to charge my mobile phone.

Unfortunately, my last train journey was a mixed bag. Although the train was clean and well air-conditioned, we were almost 40 minutes late without a clear announcement. The announcements were incomprehensible and the on-board wifi barely worked. The seat reservation didn't work either, which caused additional stress. The journey itself was quiet, but the overall impression was spoilt by the organisation.

I was travelling back from a job interview on Deutsche Bahn. The journey took place in the afternoon. I opted for the train because it was the quickest and most convenient connection to my destination. I briefly considered other options such as travelling by car or long-distance bus, but quickly discarded them - the train connection simply made the most sense. Unfortunately, the return journey didn't go entirely smoothly: there were considerable delays due to repairs to the power lines. Over the course of the journey, the delay added up to over an hour. It was particularly annoying that the extensions to the delay were only ever announced at very short notice - that was really frustrating. Otherwise, the journey was pleasant. The train was clean, including the toilets. I had a comfortable seat with plenty of space. I was able to charge my mobile phone, which was very practical.

The connection was direct and without changing trains, which made the journey very relaxed. The train was on time and pleasantly quiet. The seat cushions were comfortable and easy to stand even on longer journeys. There was a small bistro, which I used, the offer was good, the coffee okay. The toilet was okay, but could have been cleaner. Compared to the car, the train journey was less stressful and hardly any slower. Overall a solid experience.

IconStuffy air
The journey was mediocre. One positive aspect was the fast connection, I got to my destination without changing trains. Finding a seat also worked without any problems. Unfortunately, the car was quite full, which led to a rather noisy atmosphere. I was particularly annoyed by the fact that the air conditioning was only running at a low level, which made it far too warm in the coach. The windows couldn't be opened, which meant that the air became stuffy at some point. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired, especially in the entrance area where there were leftovers from the previous day. Just okay for shorter journeys, but not a real comfort experience.

I recently had the opportunity to travel from Cologne to Frankfurt by train. Overall, the journey was pleasant and smooth. The train was on time and provided a good connection between the two cities. The seats were comfortable and offer enough space to enjoy a pleasant journey. However, I have to say that the price of the journey was a bit high in my opinion. I felt that I had to pay a hefty price for a one-way train journey. Although I prefer travelling by train because it is comfortable and environmentally friendly, I think the prices could be a bit cheaper to encourage more people to choose this way of travelling. Overall, my train journey from Cologne to Frankfurt was good, but the high price was a small drawback. Nevertheless, I think the train is a good choice for travelling between the two cities, especially considering the advantages like comfort and environmental friendliness.

The journey by ICE from Cologne to Frankfurt was a pleasant experience. The train was on time and provided a comfortable travel experience. The seats were comfortable and offered enough space. There was also ample storage space for luggage. The journey was smooth and without incident. However, the price of the ride was not particularly cheap. Compared to other means of transport, the train in Germany is generally a bit more expensive. Nevertheless, the train is a comfortable and reliable way to get from A to B. For those who value convenience and punctuality, the train is a good choice.

We took the ICE from Cologne main station to Frankfurt for our holiday. It was an absolute horror. First of all, the train was of course 30 minutes late, which meant we arrived later. Since we couldn't reserve a seat, we had to sit on the floor. We had no access to electricity. Wifi is a disaster with DB anyway. The toilet was, as one is used to from DB, quite dilapidated and dirty. It really wasn't a pleasant journey. If we hadn't been able to get the ticket cheaper via Lufthansa, I would have done without DB and this trip.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconVery full
My journey to Frankfurt went very well. The toilets were very clean and the quiet compartment was, as the name suggests, also very quiet. You could relax and read and charge your mobile phone at the sockets. The journey went quickly, but the ticket inspector was unfriendly.
Advantages
Icongood wifi
Disadvantages
IconTechnical fault, too full, too loud
I had really imagined the journey to be better. There were really several negative things instead of positive, namely there was a technical malfunction that robbed me of 1 hour. The train was also too crowded and too noisy. My meal wasn't that tasty either, but it was cheap. Still, I can recommend it because it is very, very cheap.

We travelled from Cologne to Frankfurt am Main on the ICE. There was good wifi and sockets to supply our mobile phones with power and internet. The train was in good condition, the toilets were clean and the bistro had plenty to choose from. The train was on time in Frankfurt and we also arrived in Cologne at the specified time. However, the train was very full, so I would recommend reserving a seat.
Advantages
IconFast, Safe, Punctual
Disadvantages
Iconnone- I am very satisfied with the train
The return journey by ICE from Cologne to Frankfurt was also exactly the same as I am used to in 1st class. Almost the same price as in 2nd class thanks to the Bahncard 25. Faster, safer and more comfortable than in your own vehicle. Incl. power socket at the seat and sufficient wifi for work on the road. Pleasant volume despite the mobile phone compartment.
Advantages
IconComfortable seats
It was a great train ride. I had wifi and my own power socket on the train. The seats were very comfortable and the train was very quiet. If you needed food, you could get it. There were many options for ordering, the staff were very friendly, I was told when we were arriving, etc. The train was very clean and had its own power socket. The train was very clean and the toilets were also very clean. I didn't have to change trains and the train arrived on time. Great value for money point I can recommend it to everyone because it is so cheap. Great train ride!

It was a very relaxed journey as the train also arrived on time. I didn't have to change trains. I had wifi moving, each individual seat had a socket, it was quiet inside, the seats were very comfortable, but the staff were unfriendly. Still, I can recommend it to everyone because it's great value for money, but some of the staff were nice too.
Advantages
IconGuarantee with surcharge
Disadvantages
IconPoor service
It is very difficult to evaluate the train journey(s) correctly. I regularly travel the route Cologne - Frankfurt and back and the journey has different surprises every time. In addition, there are the circumstances of Corona, holidays and public holidays, and the weather also has a great influence on the journey. I have awarded a total of 3 benevolent stars. Unfortunately, there are always numerous delays, which sometimes makes changing trains very difficult. A small plus point, however, is that the trains are relatively clean again and the toilets are at least finally usable again. The service is still not good, but there is a small improvement.

The train connection between Cologne and Frankfurt is fast and efficient. The journey takes about an hour and is therefore a short journey for the distance travelled. The comfort with power sockets, toilets and also the possibility to sit at a table is very good. Unfortunately, many products in the on-board restaurant were sold out and the toilets were not clean. Nevertheless, the journey was very pleasant and can be recommended.

Good service, empty carriages and otherwise a very pleasant journey. Unfortunately I had to book at short notice and therefore only had quite expensive conditions. Apart from that, everything was fine. We travelled for 70 minutes and didn't have a stopover.

What I like about this product is that I was able to book the ticket very easily and it was cheap. I also really liked the fact that the train wasn't delayed and I arrived at my destination on time. However, I didn't like the cleanliness because the toilets were quite dirty. I really liked the fact that the internet worked perfectly and that I could watch films during the journey.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconMinimal delay
There were hardly any delays and everything went smoothly. I reserved my seat, but I didn't have to, as everything was quite empty anyway. The journey on the ICE 106 took about 2 hours, with a minimal delay. You didn't have to change trains either, so everything was great.

Overall, the journey on the ICE from Cologne to Frankfurt am Main was a good experience. There were minor problems, such as the very poor WI-FI. In my case, the connection was sometimes not even available. It was very noisy in my carriage. The snacks that were sold were very expensive. But apart from that, there were also many positive things. The journey from Cologne to Frankfurt am Main was very fast. I took in the scenery during the journey. The train was on time, with a few exceptions. The toilets were always very clean and sanitised. I think the ticket is a bit too expensive considering what you get.

The ICE from Cologne to Frankfurt arrived on time and also left the station in Cologne almost on time. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the hygiene of the sanitary facilities was absolutely fine. However, I didn't like the cleanliness of the seats here. Some of them were filthy and smelled unpleasant. The train took just under 1½ hours and arrived in Frankfurt on time.

I travelled from Cologne Central Station to Frankfurt Central Station. The train arrived on time in Cologne and was also on time in Frankfurt. It was pleasantly quiet on the train itself. I listened to music and therefore had my peace and quiet. The staff at the ticket inspection were normally friendly. I didn't use the toilet. The price is really okay, considering that you get there twice as fast as by car. I am satisfied!
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconPoor wifi
The journey from Cologne to Frankfurt am Main was largely positive. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the route. The train was well air-conditioned and the seats were quite comfortable. I found it a little annoying that the wifi broke down several times. Apart from that, I have nothing to criticise. The train was punctual, clean and well-maintained. In my opinion, the ticket was good value.
Advantages
IconOnly 5 minutes late
Disadvantages
IconCould not connect to the wifi
Unfortunately, I couldn't connect to the wifi, which is also the reason for the 4 stars. Besides the fact that it was quite boring, it was pleasantly quiet and only took about 2 hours. I can recommend this journey to anyone who has downloaded anything on Netflix. Fortunately, I didn't have to change trains on the journey from ICE 106.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconPunctuality
The train journey was solid overall, but there were some aspects that could be improved. The punctuality could have been better, but was still okay. The cleanliness of the train unfortunately left a lot to be desired, especially in the sanitary facilities. The on-board staff were friendly and helpful. The seats were reasonably comfortable, but better upholstery would have made them even more comfortable.
Advantages
IconFast drive
Disadvantages
IconDirty train
On this journey back to Frankfurt, the train was unfortunately dirtier than the train from Frankfurt to Cologne. As so often, the service staff were very nice and there were no problems. Despite the delay at the platform, the train even made up for the delay during the journey, which really surprised me. I also bought the ticket with my BahnCard and was therefore able to get a really good price!
Advantages
IconFast connection
Disadvantages
IconDelay
For our city trip to Frankfurt, we decided to travel by ICE. It took us just over an hour and we travelled in comfort. Unfortunately, the train was very late, which meant we lost almost a whole day in Frankfurt. Nevertheless, the train was very clean, the board bistro was staffed by nice people and we were able to relax and enjoy our journey. Unfortunately, the prices for catering are very expensive. The train was equipped with wifi and the seats were very comfortable.
Advantages
IconCologne-Frankfurt high-speed line
IconWifi and train portal
Disadvantages
Iconno seat reservation
I travelled on ICE 625 on the high-speed line from Cologne to Frankfurt. The journey flew by and the seats are very comfortable. The on-board wifi and the train portal are also excellent. It was a train journey as it should always be! The only thing that always bothers me is that a ticket doesn't include a seat reservation.
