Advantages
IconVery fast
IconOn time
IconNice service staff
Disadvantages
IconA little dirty
IconWifi unstable
IconICE somewhat expensive
On this route, it is faster to travel by both ICE and RE than by car via the congested A5/A6. The ICE takes just 21 minutes for the 60 km and the RE only about twice as long, and the latter costs a lot less than half as much as the ICE. The train left and arrived on time and the staff was very friendly. The only minor criticism was the cleanliness of the aisles and toilets.
Advantages
IconRelaxation during the journey
Disadvantages
IconWifi reception
The train journey was satisfactory overall. The train staff were polite and helpful and our wifi was pleasantly air-conditioned, but we had repeated problems with the wifi reception and the toilets should have been cleaned again in between. At least we were on time, which made us happy overall.
