I was pleasantly surprised on the train ride from Mannheim to Frankfurt. I had often heard that the trains were very full and that it was rare to sit, which was not the case at all. I immediately found a clean seat with a working socket to charge my mobile phone. The service was also very fast, so I received my ordered water after only 5 minutes. The train arrived on time and there were no complications.

As my other train connection was cancelled, I had to take this one, and was pleasantly surprised how everything went easily and smoothly. The staff were able to give me precise instructions on where to go and where to board, after which I was already on the train. It was neat and tidy, the seats were soft and comfortable, and even reclining. The train had a coffee machine so I could buy a coffee. The toilet was clean and hygienic, but lacked toilet paper, otherwise everything was fine. The price, by the way, was perfectly ok. As for the online ticket, I found the price absolutely fair. I reached my destination very quickly and was very satisfied with this train connection, so I will probably only take this one in the future.

It took less than an hour to get from Mannheim to Frankfurt. The train connection is very good. You can travel well with both the ICE and the regional trains. The regional trains take a little longer, of course. The price-performance ratio is reasonable, but not all that cheap. Most of the time, the trains are very clean, except the toilets are often very dirty. All in all, however, a good recommendation.

This connection was recommended to me by an acquaintance, and I did not regret it. The train arrived on time. When I boarded, the conductor made sure that everything went smoothly, and when I asked how to get to my seat as quickly as possible, a DB employee was able to give me a quick answer so that I was sitting in my seat before the train even started. This was more of a strolling journey with lots of stops, the seats were very comfortable and looked freshly maintained. The toilet was as I had imagined it would be on a train, it was very easy to use. There was a power socket and a good and stable internet connection. What I noticed negatively was that the rubbish bins had not been emptied. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with this train connection and can gladly recommend it.

Booking this ticket was very understanding and easy. I was able to print my ticket immediately and set off. The train arrived on time, there were enough seats, which were very clean and comfortable. On the train itself it was relaxed and pleasantly quiet. During the journey, you could devote yourself to the scenery. It was clean, there was wifi so you could watch something on YouTube. The toilet met all the guidelines, clean for a train. I am happy to recommend this journey.
Advantages
IconVery relaxed and recommended
Disadvantages

The journey was very pleasant and in my opinion recommendable. The journey dragged on a bit, but it was still faster than by car and also much cheaper. The Board Bistro was open and I bought a coffee. It was a bit expensive, in my opinion. The train looked a bit run down, but was not at capacity. There was plenty of seating available so I felt very free and very comfortable on the journey. I would very much like to repeat this trip.

I travelled with the Deutsche Bahn ICE 274 from Offenburg to Frankfurt. The route Mannheim, Frankfurt is part of it. I travelled second class and did not reserve point yet there were enough seats available so I did not have to stand. The train arrived on time. The train made a clean and well-maintained impression. The journey from Mannheim to Frankfurt takes just under half an hour, which I would describe as very fast. On this route, the Deutsche Bahn staff did not even ask me for my ticket.
Advantages
IconFast connection

IconRail Bonus Programme
Disadvantages
IconPunctuality of the train
The board bistro offers a wide selection of drinks and food. The bistro staff are courteous and polite. You can order from your seat and they bring you the appropriate order. On the journey, chocolates are distributed as a small thank you. The train is very clean, both the carriage and the toilet. Unfortunately, the train is not always on time.
Advantages
IconSpeed
Disadvantages
IconSeat reservation
Unfortunately, the seat reservation did not work on the route from Mannheim to Frankfurt (see 2.). I had reserved a seat in advance, but when I arrived at the train, the carriage number was not available. Unfortunately, Deutsche Bahn or the conductor couldn't help me either, so I had to sit in another seat for the entire journey. Nevertheless, the train was faster than if I had travelled by car and I could work in the meantime.
Advantages
Iconmuch choice
Iconkind staff
There was a lot of choice and all kinds of meals and especially many snacks. I travelled with 3 extra people and everyone was more than happy as there was even entertainment, for example rolling games and board games, there was also entertainment for children. The ride took a long time but didn't feel long as we all enjoyed the ride. The toilets were very clean and there were several. There were also smoking areas. The staff really did a very good job. I can only recommend the ride and am several than satisfied. The price is very reasonable for what I got.
Advantages
IconCleanliness
Disadvantages
IconPunctuality
Deutsche Bahn is not known for its punctuality, but its ICE trains are modern, well equipped, usually very clean and the wifi connection also works in most cases. The journey from Mannheim in Baden-Württemberg to Frankfurt in Hesse is short at around one hour, so there are no major delays or consequences. This makes travelling very relaxed.
