ViewI thought it was really good overall. The service on the train was attentive and friendly, you were even asked if you needed anything. There was no need to change trains, which is worth its weight in gold on longer journeys. The wifi was stable for the most part, only in tunnels did it sometimes get stuck. The view was nothing special, there was only industry and forest. I hardly saved any time compared to the car, but I was much more relaxed. Comfort was great, I was even able to sleep a bit.

The train was on time and there were no technical difficulties and everything on the train was clean, but we had a seat reservation that was simply cancelled with an email a few hours before our departure. The reason for this was a missing carriage and we were allocated new seats, however we had to sit backwards, which my travel partner has problems with, so this was a big minus point for us. It was also just overcrowded and a bit stuffy. However, as compensation we received the price of the seat reservation in the form of a Flixtrain/bus voucher.

In fact, we left on time and arrived in Berlin on time, despite the overcrowded train and the crowded station. We didn't use the bistro, but it was open. The toilets were very clean and we felt comfortable during the journey. If train travel was always like this, I would do it more often!
