We travelled from Düsseldorf to Stuttgart with IC 2213. We travelled in second class and did not reserve a seat. We regretted this afterwards, because the train was extremely full for the entire journey. The journey was very long, taking about four hours. The train stops at many intermediate stations. On the positive side, the train was on time for the entire journey. I can't say anything negative about the service on board either. The train was equipped with wifi and a bistro.

The journey from Düsseldorf to Stuttgart was on IC 2213, in second class and without seat reservation. The train covers the very long distance in quite a short time. It was slightly delayed on arrival in Stuttgart and I only just caught my connecting train. The journey itself was quite pleasant, as the train was clean and the service good. Unfortunately, the on-board bistro was closed that day.

It was a very pleasant train ride with the ICE 2213 from Düsseldorf to Stuttgart. The train offered enough free seats, no reservation was necessary. The service on board was very good, coffee and snacks were sold by the staff. There was also free wifi and plenty of power sockets. There were no delays during the entire journey. The entire journey took just under 4 hours, which is fine considering the long distance.

I travelled from Düsseldorf to Stuttgart with IC 2213. Travel was in second class and without seat reservation. The train was not delayed for the entire journey and arrived in Stuttgart on time. Basically, the train was in a clean condition, but the same could not be said of the toilet in my carriage. It was practically unusable and very unhygienic. On the positive side, the train had free wifi. The service was good, the staff was friendly.

I travelled with the IC 2213 from Düsseldorf to Stuttgart. It was a second-class journey without seat reservation. The train was on time for the entire journey. It was a very well-maintained and clean machine. The seats were almost as good as new. There was an on-board bistro offering drinks and food. The service was good. Despite being second class, there were plenty of power sockets. Unfortunately, there was no wifi.

On 24 October 2022, I travelled with a Deutsche Bahn ICE from Düsseldorf to Stuttgart and I was very satisfied with the service and quality of the train journey. Check-in at the station was quick and smooth and I was able to easily find my reserved seat on the train. The train was clean and comfortable and the seats were spacious and comfortable. There was a great selection of snacks and drinks available in the bistro during the journey. The service was friendly and efficient and I was able to place my order quickly and easily. The wifi connection on the train worked smoothly and I was able to access the internet without any problems. The journey went without delays and I reached my destination on time. Overall, the train journey with the Deutsche Bahn ICE was a great experience, the service and amenities were first class and I would recommend this method of travel to anyone who wants to travel very quickly and comfortably.

Due to the saver price, the ticket was absolutely unbeatable. Unfortunately, there were problems with the toilet on the outward journey, which was defective, which is of course annoying on a longer journey. We also arrived at our destination an hour later, which was not an extreme problem for me because of the direct connection, but was quite annoying for other travellers. Nevertheless, the journey was pleasant and because of the reservation there were no problems with seating and I was able to sleep comfortably for half the journey.
Advantages
IconPrice-performance ratio
Disadvantages
IconDelay
Due to the offer, the journey was an automatic return journey and therefore very cheap for the length of the route. The journey was mostly pleasant as the seats were very comfortable and it was also relatively quiet on the train. Another plus is the City Ticket, which was included with the train ticket. Unfortunately, the journey was delayed by a few minutes, which was a bit annoying, but it didn't have much effect on my own journey either, so I wasn't particularly annoyed about it. The service staff were very friendly and the food on board tasted good. The power sockets worked, as did the wifi and I could do everything I wanted on my phone. The toilets were okay, but could be cleaner, which was of course also due to the guests, and not always only to the staff. The staff always tried to keep up with the standard of cleanliness. The friendliness of the staff definitely made my trip a lot better, thank you very much!
Advantages

Disadvantages

IconMinimum delay
The ICE was one of the new series and accordingly very modern. The seats were comfortable and equipped with power sockets. The wifi also worked well and was fast. The journey time from Düsseldorf to Stuttgart was unbeatable and you were in the other city within a short time. Unfortunately, the departure time in Düsseldorf was quite early and the following connections too late. The departure in Düsseldorf itself was delayed by a few minutes, but this was made up for in the course of the journey. The toilets on the train were very clean and looked well maintained. Overall, the train was very clean and in a good, tidy condition. In the end, a good value for money.
