IconStaff was friendly
Cons
IconTrain was very full
IconHardly any room for my luggage
Last year, I travelled from Düsseldorf to Nuremberg for the Christmas holidays. I booked the train journey online in advance. That worked very well. The Deutsche Bahn train pulled into the station on time and arrived in Nuremberg only slightly late. The train was very full, stowing my luggage was really a challenge. Otherwise, train was clean so far, not perfect, but Ok. The staff was friendly.

As me and my friends wanted to go to a concert in Nuremberg, I needed a ticket that goes from Düsseldorf to Nuremberg. I bought the ticket at a station. For the price, I found the ticket quite cheap and that with the ICE. The journey was quite pleasant. The facilities were also all in working order. The wifi strength was perfect. I booked the reservation directly. The service was very friendly and outgoing. In terms of hygiene, everything was clean and the toilets were also in perfect order. The journey didn't really take long and the destination was reached on time. I thought the whole trip was great and for the price, travelling by ICE is a blast. Highly recommended
Pros
IconComfortable
IconVery beautiful
IconPleasant ride
Cons
IconNone
IconNo catering
The train journey from Düsseldorf to Nuremberg was satisfactory overall. The train was on time and clean, but the seats could be a little more comfortable. The scenery along the route was beautiful, but there were limited amenities on board. Overall, an acceptable way to connect the two cities. There were pleasant views of the passing scenery during the journey, which made the trip enjoyable. Unfortunately, on-board amenities were limited, which meant passengers had to rely on personal catering and entertainment. Nevertheless very satisfactory, 4 stars are therefore fair
Pros
IconHelpfulness of the staff
IconGood price-performance ratio
Cons
IconNothing
My experience of this train journey was first class. The pleasant volume on the train created a great atmosphere in which I felt completely at ease and could relax well. The wifi and power sockets on board were very practical and well thought out. The comfortable seats added significantly to the positive experience. The cleanliness of the toilet was excellent. The train was on time and the staff was very nice.
Pros
IconTrain was clean
IconOnly a slight delay
Cons
IconToo many people
My train journey with Deutsche Bahn from Düsseldorf to Nuremberg was a mixed experience. The train was clean and the seats were ok so far. But there were too many people on the train, who were not very pleasant as fellow passengers in places. At least the power socket at the seat worked, so I could block it out a bit with my headphones. The staff was slightly stressed, but friendly so far.
Pros
IconThe trip was pleasant overall
IconThe staff was friendly
Cons
IconNo catering
IconNo charging possibility
I recently travelled with Deutsche Bahn from Düsseldorf to Nuremberg and I was overall satisfied with the journey. The trains were clean and the seats were comfortable. There was also enough space for luggage. However, there were no snacks or drinks during the journey and I had to bring my own supplies. There were also no power sockets on the trains, which was a problem as I needed to charge my mobile phone. The journey itself was very pleasant and I was able to relax and enjoy the scenery. The train service was also very punctual and I arrived at my destination exactly on time.
Pros
IconSatisfactory comfort
IconAcceptable journey duration
IconEquipment was in order
Cons
IconIt wasn't exactly clean
IconCosts too high for the entire journey
IconVery unfriendly service
The train journey from Düsseldorf to Nuremberg was really interesting, to put it kindly. On a positive note, the train was reasonably well equipped. The seats were just about acceptable and the comfort met the usual train standards. The journey time, although a little longer than expected, was also reasonable. However, the cleanliness of the train really leaves a lot to be desired. You could be forgiven for thinking that no-one had done anything here for weeks. It was really unpleasant and spoilt the travel experience considerably. There is an urgent need for action. The price-performance ratio is an issue in itself. The cost of the journey is out of all proportion to what is on offer. You really feel ripped off. This should be urgently reconsidered in order to satisfy customers. And then the service: not even a friendly greeting from the staff. It seems as if politeness is no longer required on the train. You really have to ask yourself whether the people in charge even know what good customer service means. In principle, the train journey from Düsseldorf to Nuremberg was rather average. There is light and shade: Facilities, comfort and journey time were just about acceptable, but cleanliness, value for money and service really leave a lot to be desired. Hopefully more emphasis will be placed on these aspects next time. On the other hand, I will probably have to reach for my car keys again, because I don't want to have a journey like that again.
Pros
IconVery clean
IconNice staff
IconGood comfort
Cons
IconUnstable Internet connection
IconMany stopovers
My experience on the train journey from Düsseldorf to Nuremberg was adequate. The cleanliness of the train was impressive. The staff on board proved to be extremely friendly and courteous, which made the journey particularly enjoyable. The seats were also really comfortable and there was enough space to sleep during the journey. The equipment of the train met my expectations, but an improvement in the internet connection could make the journey even more comfortable. It was so unstable that I preferred to use my mobile data. Nevertheless, I found the price-performance ratio to be fair, as the amenities on offer justified the price paid. The journey time was acceptable, but could be optimised with a faster connection. The constant stops in between were very annoying. Overall, however, the train journey was a success. Especially when I consider that I helped the climate by not travelling in my car.
