I booked the reservation directly. The service was very friendly and outgoing. In terms of hygiene, everything was clean and the toilets were also in perfect order. The journey didn't really take long and the destination was reached on time. I thought the whole trip was great and for the price, travelling by ICE is a blast. Highly recommended

But there were too many people on the train, who were not very pleasant as fellow passengers in places. At least the power socket at the seat worked, so I could block it out a bit with my headphones. The staff was slightly stressed, but friendly so far.

On a positive note, the train was reasonably well equipped. The seats were just about acceptable and the comfort met the usual train standards. The journey time, although a little longer than expected, was also reasonable.
However, the cleanliness of the train really leaves a lot to be desired. You could be forgiven for thinking that no-one had done anything here for weeks. It was really unpleasant and spoilt the travel experience considerably. There is an urgent need for action.
The price-performance ratio is an issue in itself. The cost of the journey is out of all proportion to what is on offer. You really feel ripped off. This should be urgently reconsidered in order to satisfy customers.
And then the service: not even a friendly greeting from the staff. It seems as if politeness is no longer required on the train. You really have to ask yourself whether the people in charge even know what good customer service means.
In principle, the train journey from Düsseldorf to Nuremberg was rather average. There is light and shade: Facilities, comfort and journey time were just about acceptable, but cleanliness, value for money and service really leave a lot to be desired. Hopefully more emphasis will be placed on these aspects next time. On the other hand, I will probably have to reach for my car keys again, because I don't want to have a journey like that again.

The cleanliness of the train was impressive. The staff on board proved to be extremely friendly and courteous, which made the journey particularly enjoyable. The seats were also really comfortable and there was enough space to sleep during the journey. The equipment of the train met my expectations, but an improvement in the internet connection could make the journey even more comfortable. It was so unstable that I preferred to use my mobile data.
Nevertheless, I found the price-performance ratio to be fair, as the amenities on offer justified the price paid. The journey time was acceptable, but could be optimised with a faster connection. The constant stops in between were very annoying. Overall, however, the train journey was a success. Especially when I consider that I helped the climate by not travelling in my car.
