I have to say, the train ticket from Düsseldorf to Frankfurt am Main really surprised me! It was super pleasant and also cheap. The journey itself was really comfortable, the seats were okay and I had enough space. But here comes the "but", there was a slight delay. Nothing dramatic, but I thought I'd mention it. But overall it was a good experience and I would definitely book it again.

I went on this trip because I flew from Frankfurt airport and everything went as expected. The atmosphere was great as I took a look out the window and it was very quiet on the train, the staff were very nice and my orders were delivered quickly and my food was very tasty and good value. The service staff were also very nice and immediately put us in a good mood. We arrived in Frankfurt on time and had no problems at all on the entire journey. The seat was clean and the table had been cleaned beforehand. The internet also worked great throughout the journey and was perfectly adequate for surfing the web. The price was a bit expensive for the fact that you are travelling quite a short distance.

The journey takes about an hour. The train departs on time and you don't have to change trains. My nephew travelled in 2nd class. He had free wifi and a power socket at his seat. The compartment was clean, as were the seats. The staff were friendly and helpful. We booked the ticket online without any problems, it was easy and quick. There is also an on-board restaurant on the train, the food is tasty but not exactly cheap.
