It was very easy to book tickets from Prague to Salzburg Central Station. It was very easy to buy tickets online for seat 15 in carriage 3. The staff were very nice & chatty and the train was very clean, as were the toilets. The train departed on time, so I was at my destination in "only" three hours, without changing trains. As I travelled via the city of "Budweis" in the Czech Republic, the journey took a little longer than usual. As always, the free power sockets and wifi worked well and it was very quiet on the train. As always, the price-performance ratio was excellent!

The train journey from Prague to Salzburg was pleasant and clean, but the service left a lot to be desired. The journey time was reasonable but the value for money could be improved. Despite a slight delay, I enjoyed the scenery along the way.

I travelled from Prague to Salzburg, with one change. I first travelled from Prague to Munich Hbf on the EX 358, and then on the WestBahn from Munich Hbf to Salzburg Hbf (a total journey time of 07 hours and 58 minutes) and both trains kept to the time and were punctual. The train was also clean and the seats were comfortable. Furthermore, the wifi on board was also very good as I had no interruption during the whole journey.

IconUnfriendly staff
I recently travelled by train from Prague to Salzburg (train number: EC 378). The journey time was about 6 hours and the train travelled directly without changing trains. The train was on time and very clean, which is a positive thing to emphasise. Unfortunately, the price was extremely high, which I found unreasonable. The comfort also left a lot to be desired, as the seats were quite uncomfortable. The staff were also rather unfriendly, which spoilt the travel experience somewhat. All in all, a solid connection, but there is definitely room for improvement.
