Two months ago, I travelled from Frankfurt am Main to Mannheim by ICE. My journey was very comfortable Temperature and volume in the ICE were very relaxed. The wifi also worked. The railway staff on the spot were totally helpful. Great! Unfortunately, the hygienic conditions on site were not really good. The train toilets in particular were very dirty. The compartments could also have been a bit cleaner.

This train journey was business-related on my part. It was a pleasant experience. The train was clean and comfortable and the seats offered enough legroom. It was only a bit noisy or the train was a bit busy. But the toilets were always clean and hygienic. Staff were also nice.

I travelled by 2nd class ICE, the journey was very pleasant and in my opinion recommendable. The journey dragged on a bit, but it was still faster than by car and also much cheaper. The snack bar was open and I bought a coffee. It was a bit too expensive, in my opinion. The train looked a bit run down, but was nowhere near capacity. There was plenty of seating available, so I felt very free and comfortable on the journey. I would very much like to repeat this trip.

The journey goes by very quickly, especially with the ICE. The ICE arrived on time. It was a relatively new train, it looked very well maintained. I can say little about the staff, as they were not really present on the short route. Even without a BahnCard, the price for the one-way journey was quite affordable. At the time I travelled, which was around 13:00, the train was not overcrowded. There were plenty of seats.
