Advantages
IconRecumbent seat
This trip was one way and was quite cheap. It was very comfortable on the train as I had a lot of space and a reclining seat that was very cosy and had a massage function, which was great. I also liked that the wifi was very good. The staff were also very humorous. The noise level on the train was very pleasant. If you needed food, you also got it. Since there were no negative things, I can gladly pass on the trip. Great trip! My train also arrived on time.
Advantages
Iconsympathetic staff
The train carriages were very large. My orange juice was very fresh. There were high quality meals that also suited the day, for example cornflakes and co. in the morning. The train was very nice. I had a lot of space and also plenty of room for my luggage. The staff were very nice, friendly and sympathetic. All the staff made sure that the passengers had a pleasant and good train ride. The seats were movable and adjustable, which made it much more comfortable. If you couldn't finish your food, it was packed and you could choose to take it with you, which was great. The train arrived on time as expected. I definitely recommend it, my ticket was expensive but it was definitely worth it.
Advantages
IconLockers
I really enjoyed this ride. I felt safe because I could lock up my valuables, which I thought was great. I also liked that the staff was very nice and also good at service. I also liked the food. The wifi was good and it was very comfortable on the train. I felt comfortable using the toilets. It was also very clean on the train. The train also arrived when it said it would on my ticket. If it gets 5 stars, it is also highly recommended. Super great ride and a reasonable price for the ride.
Advantages
Iconcourteous staff
Disadvantages
Iconsomewhat expensive
As you can see from the picture below, this was my outward journey. The only negative was that it was a bit expensive. It was a return journey, but it wasn't that expensive at the time. For 2nd class, I had quite a lot of space and plenty of choice when it came to food. The taste of the food was delicious. Also, the toilets were very clean and you could use them. The staff were also very polite, which I thought was great. In general, I can recommend it and rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
Advantages
Iconpleasant volume
Disadvantages
Iconexpensive
It was an expensive train journey, but I had to take it. There were several positive reasons, but it was quite expensive even if it was a return journey. The thing I liked best was the passers-by, they were very empathetic, so the volume on the train was very pleasant. It wasn't a time when everything was modern, but the train looked really modern and nice. The service was definitely good value. I can recommend the trip despite the price. The view was also very nice and my train arrived on time.
Advantages
IconPunctuality
Disadvantages
IconEverything was great!
It was a quick ride. It was very cheap. I had access to wifi and multiple access to electricity. It was very quiet on the train and the service was fast and great. My croissant was very tasty, my tea was also very tasty. We didn't have to change trains and the toilets were very clean. I can lovingly recommend it as it was a quick journey, as the train was on time and as it was very cheap, so I can recommend it.

Disadvantages
Iconexpensive
This was my outward journey in class 2. It was a great journey but was very expensive, however I can recommend it as: My wifi was very good, I had a power socket at my seat, my seat was comfortable, it was quiet on the train, the staff were very nice and humorous, the toilets were clean, I didn't have to change trains and the train was on time. I can recommend it to others.
Advantages
IconComfort
Disadvantages
IconALWAYS TOO LATE
Well, I actually like to be a train customer but this time the connection was late again plus some kind of disruption so we didn't stop at Frankfurt Hbf but at Frankfurt Süd. I like travelling by train because then I can do other things. The power supply is also great, there is a socket at every seat. So far I haven't had any problems with the wifi and the on-board bistro always has a good selection. The conductors are very friendly.
Advantages
IconQuick and uncomplicated
Disadvantages
IconExpensive
Very pleasant journey. Quick, uncomplicated booking at short notice. Train on time. Staff, service courteous and very friendly. Toilets clean, food ok for train. Internet connection mostly good. Ticket a bit overpriced, comfort, seating area etc.. But 1A.
Advantages
IconOn time and faster than by car
IconEven the S-Bahn home was possible inside
Disadvantages
IconCheapest price only without return option
I took the ICE again for my big trip to Munich and back. Thanks to 25% BahnCard 1st class at a similar price as the 2nd class train would have cost. Everything was top. Chocolate and biscuits as a nice gesture from the conductor, enough space and quiet. Power supply and wifi at the seat - so I could also work during the journey. Conclusion: Unrivalled use of time.
Advantages
Iconwifi
Disadvantages

I found the journey very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. In addition, the price for the online ticket was really customer-friendly. In my opinion, the reception and wifi were particularly excellent. That brings me to the next point, which is comfort. It was very comfortable and super hygienic and clean. The journey took about three hours and I highly recommend it.

IconGood wifi
Disadvantages

IconWatery coffee
The wifi worked 1-A! So did the sockets. The comfort of the seats could be improved, but the volume was very nicely dimmed due to the many compartments. The service was good. The journey time is also completely fine, as it is a longer route. However, there is often a delay via Mannheim, but this is due to the main station in Mannheim.

Iconreliability
As on the outward journey, the ICE from Munich to Frankfurt am Main was impressive in terms of comfort, equipment, cleanliness and hygiene, but punctuality and reliability were again a major problem on this journey. This time the train was around 25 minutes late in Munich, but this was compensated for somewhat by the speed of the journey.

The journey took about 3 hours and 10 minutes. We only had 3 stops and almost no delays. The service was friendly and there were enough seats for everyone. There was electricity, wifi and a wide selection in the on-board bistro. I would definitely make the journey again.

I really enjoyed the journey. The staff were very friendly and the seats were very comfortable. There was excellent wifi reception on the train and there were several power sockets. The sanitary facilities and the rest of the compartments were very clean and hygiene was excellent. The ticket price was also very fair. I can only give the train connection positive marks
Advantages
IconThe guests were all quiet
Disadvantages
IconThere was a 10-minute delay
The journey from Munich to Cologne went smoothly. I didn't have to change trains or anything. The journey took 3 hours and 20 minutes, as there was a slight delay. The ICE 625 was the one I travelled on and it had wifi, toilets and plenty of seats. Everything was also very clean. There were 3 short stops, but they were too short to get off and buy something.
Advantages
IconBeautiful view
Disadvantages
IconUnfortunately somewhat slow ride
I actually really enjoyed the journey as the view was really nice and I was able to take in the scenery. However, there were apparently some problems with the train not being able to run at maximum speed, which meant I arrived more than an hour late. Otherwise the service and wifi was actually quite good! The journey time was about an hour longer, i.e. around 6 hours, and I didn't have to change trains. So I was on the same train as from the start. It was an ICE 618
Advantages
IconFree wifi
Disadvantages
IconDirty toilets
In my opinion, the timetable was pretty clear and understandable and the online ticket was pretty stress-free to book with Deutsche Bahn. I found my seat very comfortable. I also liked that the train offered free wifi and power sockets. Fortunately, the noise level was reasonable and the catering was adequate. However, I didn't think the cleanliness was so good, as the toilets were very untidy and dirty. The train was not delayed.
Advantages
IconCosy
Disadvantages
IconDirty railway station
The train departed on time from Munich Central Station. I was able to travel for about 4 hours without changing trains. In the meantime, I had to/wanted to move once because a baby wouldn't stop crying. (Nothing against children, but it's exhausting). Apart from that, the train journey was quiet as usual. The ticket inspection was quite ordinary, the service was good as usual. The toilets weren't the cleanest, but you know that by now.

Advantages: Travelling by train is an environmentally friendly alternative to flying or driving. The booking options are very extensive, both online and on site. The option to reserve a seat is also available. The journey time from Munich to Frankfurt am Main is very short. During the journey you can relax, work or enjoy the scenery. The seats are very comfortable. The train is very clean and offers a pleasant environment. Disadvantages: The wifi connection was unstable and was sometimes not available at all. The train staff was not so friendly. The train ticket was very expensive.

At the beginning of April, I travelled from Munich Central Station to Frankfurt am Main Central Station. I booked second class for one person without a seat reservation. Fortunately, I got a super saver fare. Nevertheless, journeys with Deutsche Bahn are usually expensive. The toilets were clean and the wifi reception was good. I travel this route regularly and occasionally sit down in the on-board restaurant and I think the prices there are okay. A normal journey on the ICE524 takes 3:17 hours without delays, which is really fast compared to the car and I therefore prefer the train whenever possible.
Advantages

Disadvantages

The timetable is adhered to and buying tickets and making reservations online was quick and easy. Comfortable seat, as expected and plenty of space for luggage. Journey time and duration was as expected (approx. 4 hours) and did not change. Cleanliness was present in the compartment and toilets. I cannot judge the service. Wifi and sockets available and functional throughout the journey. Price-performance ratio is okay.

The journey from Munich to Frankfurt was a pretty good trip. It was very quick as I travelled on the ICE and didn't have to change trains once and the train was on time. What I found very good was that the train was equipped with wifi and power sockets.
Advantages
IconFast drive
IconClean train
Disadvantages
IconA little delay
The journey back from Munich to Frankfurt was very pleasant and felt better than the journey to Munich. The staff were nicer and generally the feeling I had during the journey was much nicer. I got a good price online even though I booked the same day.
Advantages
IconSuper fast connection
IconComfortable travelling
IconNo change
Disadvantages
IconPunctuality
IconCleanliness at the railway station
A fast and direct connection from Munich to Frankfurt, which you can't do by car. This ticket also included the city centre area, so I didn't need an extra ticket for the S-Bahn. The train was on time and the journey was very comfortable. Only the station could have been cleaner
