AirTrain JFK links the airport to subways and buses, for onward travel all around New York. The AirTrain runs 24 hours a day, every day of the year. It transports passengers between terminals for free and has lines that travel towards Jamaica Station and Howard Beach Station. Depending on the final destination, the total journey will take around an hour.

Flying into Madrid

Madrid is often described as elegant, which perfectly sums up the cosmopolitan Spanish capital. An eclectic mix of old and new buildings represent the city's old world charm combined with its modern outlook. Flights from all New York airports land at Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas Airport. The city centre is approximately 14 kilometres away and there are several public transport options available to get there. There are two Metro stations at the airport with metros running until around 2:00 a.m. Trains also depart from the terminal 4 station and take up to 30 minutes to reach various destinations. However, rail service ends at midnight. There are also public buses available on several routes from the airport to Madrid's city centre.
