IconGood customer service
IconSmooth ride
IconClean train
Disadvantages
IconThe toilets are very unhygienic
IconTrain was very full
The booking was very easy! I was able to book seat 16 in carriage 4 very easily! The journey took about 4 hours as I travelled via Salzburg/Linz/St. Pölten. The seats were very comfortable and it wasn't really noisy. There was working free wifi & 230V sockets. The staff were very friendly and the train was very clean. Only the toilets were a bit dirty. I arrived at my destination on time without changing trains! The price-performance ratio is very good! I am happy to recommend it to others!
Advantages
IconNice service
Disadvantages
IconPricewise okay
I travelled to Innsbruck on the RJX660. The journey was relatively long, taking over 4 hours. The service was very nice throughout the journey and the train was also in good condition. The hygiene of the train did not disappoint me. The price was also okay, only for a journey within Austria I usually pay relatively less. The on-board bistro was also open, which I was very pleased about.
Advantages
IconGood wifi
Disadvantages
IconExpensive
The ticket wasn't cheap, but the reservation was super easy. The seat was okay. Nevertheless, the volume was a bit too high, but what I liked was that the wifi worked great, so I was able to watch my series comfortably. The service was also very friendly. Another thing I liked was that I reached my destination very quickly without having to change trains. The toilets were quite tidy, except that they stank.
Advantages
IconShort journey
Disadvantages
IconExpensive
What I really liked about the journey from Vienna to Innsbruck was that I was able to book the ticket very easily and found a ticket that meant I didn't have to change trains and could therefore reach my destination quickly. However, the ticket was quite expensive. I also liked the fact that the wifi was excellent and the toilets were clean.
Advantages
IconBeautiful view
Disadvantages
IconPricewise okay
I travelled to Innsbruck on the RJX 660. The hygiene on the train was very good. The wifi worked, but wasn't the fastest. As I unfortunately only get Deutsche Bahn journeys paid for by my employer, or partially paid for, I had to pay a more expensive price for the ticket than through other providers. Nevertheless, the journey was very nice and pleasant and I arrived at my destination within 4 hours
Advantages
IconFavourable
Disadvantages
IconMany passengers
Unfortunately, I didn't like the fact that the train was so full and had so many passengers on the journey from Vienna to Innsbruck. Nevertheless, the journey was great because I didn't have to change trains and it was great that I reached my destination promptly. The simple and inexpensive booking was also a very positive aspect. Other reasons that convinced me were the clean seats and toilets, as well as the good wifi.
Advantages
IconCheap ticket
Disadvantages
IconDelay
What I didn't like about my journey from Vienna to Innsbruck was that the train was delayed and I didn't arrive at my destination on time as planned. Nevertheless, I thought it was great that I had wifi during the journey and could surf the internet while travelling. I also liked the fact that the toilets and the whole train were very tidy and clean. What I liked best was that I could book a cheap ticket online without having to change trains.
Advantages
IconVery cleanly organised
Disadvantages
IconTrip duration
The train journey from Vienna to Innsbruck was extremely comfortable and the cleanliness was impeccable. However, the service was disappointing and the journey time was slightly longer than expected. The value for money was fair, but better service could improve the overall rating.
Advantages
IconRelaxed
IconEnvironmentally friendly
Disadvantages
IconChange often
IconLittle space
IconPoor journey times
The train journey from Vienna to Innsbruck was fine overall. Travelling by train is pleasant and environmentally friendly, and the service on board was friendly. Unfortunately, however, I had to change trains several times, which made the journey less comfortable. The change from railjets to regional trains was particularly annoying as the journey times were not optimally coordinated. Overall a solid experience, but with room for improvement.
Advantages
IconDirect connection
IconComfort in 1st class
IconLounges at the railway station
Disadvantages
IconSmooth running
I travelled from Vienna to Innsbruck on the RJX 766 in just under five hours without having to change trains or experience a delay. With my 1st class Interrail ticket, I looked for a free seat and enjoyed the journey in a comfortable leather seat. Thanks to the power socket, entertainment portal and wifi, I was able to pass the journey time by watching two films and reading emails. It was quiet and clean, except that the train sometimes wobbled, causing my laptop to rattle on the folding table. Before my departure in Vienna, I spent a short time in the ÖBB lounge and then a little longer after my arrival in Innsbruck, where I was able to have a free pastry, juice and coffee and relax a little.
