It is located about one mile (1.6 kilometers) from downtown Venice. It's a modern station with a wide range of facilities and amenities, including ticket offices, self_service ticket machines, ATMs, left luggage office, Freccia Club (lounge), Wi_Fi, and an open_plan food court, complete with a bar. About four departures occur from the Venice Mestre station, situated 5.5 miles (8.9 kilometers) from the city center.
Arrival train station:Your train from Venice will arrive in Bergamo at either Bergamo train station or Bergamo Ospedale station. The former lies about 0.8 miles (1.3 kilometers) from the city center. It takes about five minutes to access it by car and 13 minutes on foot. There are no direct connections. They either have one or two transfers with layovers at the Verona Porta Nuova and Bergamo train stations.
