When you transfer on your way to Naples, you will then board its Italian counterpart, Trenitalia. When departing in Paris, you will board the TGV INOUI high-speed train line. This stretch of the journey generally takes less than 6h before you get to the transfer station. This line is offered twice daily, once in the morning and in the afternoon. It will take you directly to the transfer station where you will board the Trenitalia line to then finish your journey in Naples.
Once you board Trenitalia to finish your journey, you will either board a regional long-distance train line or the Frecciarossa high-speed train line, depending on which ticket you purchase. TGV INOUI high-speed train offers both second and first-class seating as well as family seating in both classes and a business premier seating so you can work on the go. There is also a cafe and bar onboard where you can purchase drinks, snacks, and meals during the trip. You can take your bicycle on the train, but it must be pre-booked and folded into a bicycle bag, which then you can bring it free of charge. Trenitalia offers two different lines for the last leg of the journey to Naples. The other option is the high-speed Frecciarossa line which offers 4 standards of service; standard, premium, business and executive, the counterpart to the French TGV INOUI. If it's a foldable bicycle placed in the special carrying bag, it is free of charge.
