Advantages
IconGood for the environment
IconNo need to change trains
Disadvantages
IconCame too late
IconTrain completely overcrowded
IconVery long journey time
I travelled from Manchester to Glasgow by train, train number 1S45. Although it's great that travelling by train is environmentally friendly and you don't have to change trains, the journey was unfortunately disappointing. The train was overcrowded, I could barely find a seat and we were over 30 minutes late. Instead of the planned 3 hours, the journey took almost 3.5 hours. All in all, it was simply a far too long and uncomfortable journey."
