ScotRail Trains
Established under the brand ScotRail by National Express in 1997, the company was transferred to First in 2004 at which point it was redubbed First ScotRail. In 2008, the company returned to the original name, ScotRail.
The rail company provides services throughout Northern England to areas such as Newcastle and Carlisle, as well as London. The vast majority of services are between major Scottish cities, such as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Aberdeen and Dundee. It operates trains along the Highland Main Line, which is renowned for the scenic views of the Scottish Highlands. A Caledonian sleeper train running overnight also takes passengers from Scotland to London’s Euston Station.
