Glasgow Central's Mobility Assistance point is open between 07:00 a.m.- 10:00 p.m. After 22:00, passengers should see any member of station staff to request assistance. An intercom is also available.

Network Rail staff can assist with First Aid. Passengers who need assistance with luggage must arrange prior to arrival at the destination for a staff member to help. Staff members at reception, which can be found on the first floor, can also provide more information on assistance with luggage. Passengers can use the accessible unisex toilets on the lower floor of Glasgow Central Railway Station. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office for any Scottish destination, though not for other destinations. Payphones can be found at the entrance of platform 1 and platform 9.
