Very expensiveThe train was very dirtyI travelled from Manchester to Edinburgh on 29 April. The journey took about three hours with no delays. I travelled on the k323. There was wifi, but no power sockets. There was also no catering. The seats were comfortable and the noise level was reasonable. The hygiene, on the other hand, was not so good. Neither was the price-performance ratio, as the ticket was very expensive. The journey was direct and I didn't have to change trains.

In addition, we were over an hour late, which made the whole journey even more unpleasant. Another negative point was the unpleasant odour on the train, which made it difficult to enjoy the journey. The staff seemed overwhelmed and couldn't help, which made the situation even more frustrating.
The only positive note is the price, but I would still recommend considering other options to have a more enjoyable journey.
