Once at SMN, travelers will find all the services of a major railway station, including train tickets offices, Italo and Trenitalia VIP lounges, bars and restaurants, a wide array of shops, luggage storage, assistance for people with disabilities through Trenitalia’s Sala Blu office, restrooms, ATMs, and car rental counters. In addition the bus station, you’ll find taxi stands and plenty of parking outside the station. The routes to Brescia that start on an Intercity train depart from the Rifredi station, which is much smaller than SMN. Rifredi is located about 2 miles (3.3 km) north of the city center. The easiest way to get to Rifredi from the city center is to take a 6min ride on a regional train from SMN station or a 14min ride on the T1.3 tram, which picks up passengers just outside SMN.
