Advantages
Icondirect thoroughfare
Disadvantages
IconWC unclean
The train arrived 30 minutes late. The wifi on the train did not work. It was a direct connection from Erfurt to Munich. Not having to change trains is something I really appreciate. Although I didn't have a seat reservation, I easily found a quite comfortable seat. Disgusting was the unhygienic condition of the toilets. I'd rather refrain from saying that. Price-performance ratio borderline in my opinion.
Advantages
IconTrain was clean and had comfortable seats and equipment
IconBoard bistro open
IconChange not necessary
Disadvantages
IconDelayed ticket control
There was no need to change trains from Erfurt to Munich. It was very quiet on the train and the seats were very comfortable. However, the ticket check was delayed because a trainee had been trained and therefore also made many mistakes. Otherwise, the train had been very clean, as were the toilets. An on-board bistro had been available and was open. Otherwise, the train had been on time and was therefore very relaxing.
Advantages
IconFast drive
IconFavourable with early booking
Disadvantages
IconI can't think of anything
The journey from Erfurt Hbf to Munich Hbf took from 18:31 to 21:19, so the ICE was 15 minutes late. Nevertheless, the journey was pleasant and the 2 hour 45 minute journey time is still reasonable considering the long distance, which would take considerably longer by car. Deutsche Bahn's ICE product impresses with comfortable seats and plenty of legroom, even in second class. The route is highly recommended!
Advantages
IconComfort
Disadvantages
IconNone
I enjoyed the 2 hour and 30 minute journey home. The train arrived on time and left around lunchtime. As usual, it was kept very clean and hygienic. As I was still a bit tired, I was able to get a good night's sleep. The staff were always there for me if I needed help. As there was a stable network, I was also able to work a little. I recommend the train journey.
