I travelled together with my mother. The seats were comfortable and the compartment was clean. I particularly liked the friendly staff, who were happy to help with any questions. The announcements were easy to understand and there was free wifi, which was usually stable. The sanitary facilities were also clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the train was delayed by about half an hour, which was not satisfactory.

The two of us travelled from Erfurt to Berlin for a holiday. The train journey was punctual and largely relaxing. There were no inconveniences or delays on the journey. Unfortunately, the on-board restaurant is expensive and has very little choice. We did not use the on-board entertainment, but the wifi was free and easy to use. In terms of hygienic cleanliness, it is disappointing to say that the train was quite dirty and we didn't have a look at the toilets.

I was travelling early and the train came just in time, direct connection, no changes. My seat was comfortable, with enough legroom and working wifi so I could get some work done. The toilets were clean, which I found really positive. The on-board bistro was also handy for a coffee in between. The service was friendly, only the arrival was delayed by 10 minutes. Overall, it was a pleasant journey as the seats were also very comfortable.

The journey from Erfurt to Berlin was comfortable and very relaxed overall. The seats were spacious and the train staff were friendly and attentive. I particularly liked the fact that the journey was quick and that we reached the capital quickly. The quiet journey also made it pleasant to read or work en route. However, the wifi was not constantly stable, which made working with an internet connection a little more difficult.

Overall, the train journey was very pleasant. The seats were comfortable and there was enough space, even for longer journeys. I found it particularly positive that the train travelled quietly and was on time. So you could relax or read. The free wifi also worked perfectly, which made the time pass more quickly. What I found less positive was that it got a bit warm in the compartment and you couldn't adjust the temperature yourself. Nevertheless, the train journey was pleasant.

The train journey was okay, but there were a few points that were annoying. On the positive side, there was plenty of space and the journey was generally quiet. The announcements were also understandable and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the wifi was barely usable and the train was 15 minutes late, which made the connection stressful. The carriage could also have been a little cleaner. Still acceptable for a medium-distance journey, but not ideal.

I wasn't particularly happy with this journey. The train was almost half an hour late right at the start and there was no proper information on the platform. It was very warm in the carriage as the air conditioning had broken down. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired, especially the tables and windows were clearly dirty. At least the staff were friendly and made an effort, but overall the journey was quite tiring.

I had opted for the direct connection in order to have as relaxed a journey as possible, but was partially disappointed. The train was on time, but the seat was saggy and uncomfortable. There was neither a functioning wifi nor an on-board bistro. The carriage was quite old, which was clearly noticeable in the furnishings. The view on the route was nice and the staff were friendly. All in all, the journey was okay, but not particularly comfortable.

The price-performance ratio of this trip is unbeatable. Compared to the train, the bus is a cheap alternative and offers a very pleasant way to travel. The bus was punctual on departure in Erfurt and arrival in Berlin. We reached our destination after a journey time of approx. 4 hours. No traffic jams or other delays. A quiet journey. The seats are clean and not too cramped. You have enough space and can make yourself comfortable. The free internet worked great. The ride is recommended at most.

I found the journey very pleasant and nice, except that the train was a bit outdated, which is why there was no wifi or power sockets. Nevertheless, the train was very clean and the toilets were very well maintained. The staff were also very friendly and the food in the on-board bistro was still warm. The train was also on time and you could sit comfortably. It was also surprisingly quiet, which is why it was great to take a little power nap.

The journey to Erfurt by train is much faster than by car. You don't have to change trains. If you book in time, have a BahnCard and are young, the price is good. If you want to travel at short notice, the prices are very high. The train was clean, but also very crowded. The toilet and wifi worked. I didn't see any staff during the entire journey.

The train ride was very uncomfortable and I didn't feel uncomfortable. There was free, wifi and an extra socket for everyone where you could charge your mobile phone. The seats were very comfortable. I can recommend it for everyone.

My train journey from Erfurt to Berlin had some positive aspects, but there were also some points that marred my experience. The train itself was decent and the seats were acceptable, but they were not particularly comfortable. There was a lack of sufficient padding and the seating position left something to be desired. The cleanliness on the train could also have been better as there were some dirty areas. The on-time departure and arrival were definitely a plus and the train ride was smooth for the most part. However, there were some minor delays along the way which were a bit annoying. The scenery during the train journey was average for the most part. The customer service on the train was average. The train staff were friendly but not particularly attentive. There were also no special amenities or additional services that would have made my journey more enjoyable. The food options on the train were limited and the quality was average. There was a lack of a diverse selection of food and drinks and the prices were a bit high. Overall, my train journey from Erfurt to Berlin was okay, but it didn't really impress me. There were some positives such as the punctuality and basic functionality of the train, but it lacked comfort and outstanding features that would have made the journey an exceptional experience.

The train's facilities were just massive. There was no wifi on the train and power sockets only in the compartment by the window. Only 2 of them. The seats were ok. Nothing special, but not uncomfortable either. There was no on-board service on the night train. You could reserve seats, which is advisable. The train was very clean. The train was 30 minutes late in Erfurt and 10 minutes late in Berlin. Price-performance ratio is very good. 10 euros from Erfurt to Berlin.

I really enjoyed my train journey to Berlin. We both left and arrived on time and the train staff were always helpful and very friendly. All the toilets were open and their cleanliness left nothing to be desired either. During the journey, I grabbed a coffee in the on-board bistro and found it to be very good value for money. I had enough space in my seat and I personally also found the seats very comfortable. All in all, a very pleasant train journey. Nothing could have been better.

Disadvantages

IconPunctuality
The equipment was inadequate, the wifi did not work and there were only a few power sockets in the carriage. The comfort was also not good, the seat pitch was smaller than on the plane, although the ticket was issued for first class. The service was non-existent. There was no catering at the seat and the reservation cost €5.90 extra. The only positive points were the information, which was well presented, and the cleanliness, which was complete. The journey time was longer than planned as the train was late and overcrowded, which had a very negative impact on the quality of the journey. The price-performance ratio was poor. I paid a lot of money for an unpleasant journey.

It is so comfortable that you are connected to the Internet while travelling on the train. I was very satisfied with the Internet connectivity on board. I would say Deutsche Bahn has the best service. It is so easy to charge your phone during the trip on the board. Thank you DB!!!

The train connection exceeded my expectations. The punctuality was impressive, the train arrived exactly on time. The price was fair compared to other transport options. The cleanliness of the train was impeccable, the seats and floors looked freshly cleaned. The wifi worked great and was mostly stable. The toilet facilities were clean and smelled pleasant. I found the train service very good as it was punctual, clean and cheap.
