Travelled with the ICE 1657, whereby the route between Gotha and Erfurt was also served. Travel is in second class and I did not make a reservation, yet there were enough seats available. About on time. There was wifi on board. The staff were always friendly and polite. On the negative side, the train was a bit dirty and run down. The journey itself was nevertheless very pleasant.
