I travelled from Cologne to Amsterdam with the ICE 156. The journey was in second class and I reserved seats. I have absolutely nothing negative to report about this connection. The staff on board were very friendly and polite. The train was very clean, including the toilets. There were no delays during the entire journey. This was a modern train with wifi access.

I travelled from Cologne to Amsterdam on the ICE 156. I reserved seats and got them without any problems. The train was quite well equipped. It had an on-board bistro and free wifi. The prices at the bistro were a bit high in my opinion. The journey itself was quite relaxed and there were beautiful views to see. The train was on time for the entire journey. Furthermore, it was clean and well maintained. The staff were all friendly and polite.

The only downside to this otherwise positive experience was the slower and poor internet on the train, which affected communication and conversation during the journey. Despite this minor flaw, the trip was overall very satisfying.

The facilities were limited, it was comfortable, but the service was relatively cheeky. Cleanliness was not part of the DB and neither was punctuality. The price-performance ratio is not good. The delay is too long for the price and I couldn't make my train and had to take a taxi

The journey is very pleasant, there is a punctual arrival and a very cosy seat. The air conditioning works perfectly, which is necessary in high temperatures. The food here was not quite ideal, it was a chilli con carne, but the meat was very dry. It was also with cream, which tasted a bit sour (not expired, but not very good) the bread was crispy and tasty
