Covering roughly 300 kilometers (185+ miles) in less than 90 minutes, it’s a relaxed and fast way to travel from city center to city center. You’ll enjoy a good seat, panoramic views, and over 20 daily departures. In this guide, I’ll share my first-hand tips to ensure your Brussels to Paris train journey is smooth and scenic.

The journey from Brussels to Paris by train begins at Brussels-Midi and arrives at the iconic Gare du Nord in Paris. Operated by Eurostar, it covers about 300 kilometers in under 90 minutes, reaching speeds of up to 300 km/h. On my trip, we even arrived two minutes ahead of schedule! If you're still deciding on how to get there, you can always compare buses from Brussels to Paris on Omio. But for me, nothing matches the Eurostar’s speed, comfort and ease of traveling, from city center to city center. The views of the French countryside are also a nice bonus!
When I ask myself, “Should I take the train or bus from Brussels to Paris?”—I always end up choosing the train for its comfort and speed. For more options, you can check out flights from Brussels to Paris on Omio—but, trust me, you'll want to choose the train! Booking on Omio was a breeze. The ticket for the Brussels to Paris train appeared instantly in my email, so it was always at my fingertips. Brussels-Midi feels like a giant shopping mall with plenty of shops and eateries. Here, I grabbed a quick lunch before finding the departure boards and clear signage that guided me straight to the platform.

I traveled in Eurostar Plus on the Brussels to Paris train service. The seats were quite nice, with decent legroom, and the big windows made it easy to relax and soak in the views. There’s plenty of space for your bags, with overhead racks and additional luggage zones. Need Wi-Fi and power sockets? You’ve got them! Craving a snack or light meal? Just head to the onboard cafeteria and indulge. If gazing out at the rolling plains of Northern France is more your speed, go ahead! This is the kind of journey that invites you to unwind and simply enjoy 90 minutes of blissful relaxation, which is exactly what I did.

I recommend booking your Brussels to Paris train tickets at least a month in advance. This is the best way to score great fares—prices can start as low as €65 for a one-way trip! Fares are dynamic, though, so if you’re traveling on a busy service like I did, you might end up paying a little more. This trip cost me €99.
