I got to my destination without changing trains, which was convenient. Unfortunately, the carriage was overcrowded and I was cramped next to the aisle. The toilet was no longer usable, there was no paper. The staff were friendly, but hardly visible. There was no on-board bistro. Compared to travelling by car, you save money, but not nerves. There was hardly any view, as many windows were steamed up or dirty.

I took the Intercity from Rostock to Berlin, which has a very short journey time between the two cities. It wasn't full, so it was relatively quiet. The seats were very comfortable and there were power sockets and internet on the train. The toilets looked hygienic and the corridors were very clean. My favourite part was the lighting, which made the interior look very classy. The staff were friendly and the comfort check-in worked smoothly. The ticket was also reasonably priced and I didn't have to change trains. Unfortunately, there was a delay of 20 minutes until Berlin. I can still recommend the journey.

I was very satisfied with the journey. The train was on time, modernly equipped and pleasantly cooled. The seats were comfortable, with power sockets and plenty of legroom. The app notifications for the journey also worked well. Only the on-board service could be faster and a little friendlier. Overall, however, a very pleasant connection with many things going well.

The train journey was generally relaxed. I had a window seat with a nice view and it was pleasantly quiet in the compartment. The seats were comfortable, the air conditioning ran constantly and the toilets were clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the well-kept condition of the entire carriage. Unfortunately, the train arrived at its destination about 20 minutes late, which made my schedule a little tight. Nevertheless, the journey was comfortable and I would use the connection again, as the overall package was right.

The train journey was basically fine. The connection was the fastest option, but the carriage was overcrowded, which significantly reduced comfort. Unfortunately, the toilets were not in the best condition and there were no announcements in the event of delays. At least the staff were friendly and helpful. Compared to the car, it was still less stressful, but unfortunately this time it was far from a really pleasant journey.

The Brandenburg Gate, an iconic symbol of Berlin, was constructed in the late 18th century and originally served as a neoclassical triumphal arch. Its significance lies not only in its architectural beauty but also as a powerful emblem of unity; it stood witness to both the division and reunification of Germany during the Cold War. Unique features include its stunning Quadriga statue atop the gate, which represents peace and victory, making it a must-see for anyone wanting to understand Berlin's complex history.

The Berlin Wall Memorial is a poignant reminder of Germany’s turbulent past, marking where one of history's most infamous barriers once divided East and West Berlin from 1961 until 1989. This site holds great significance as it encapsulates stories of struggle for freedom while providing insight into life under oppressive regimes. Visitors can explore unique elements like preserved sections of the wall itself along with informative exhibits that bring personal narratives to light.

The Reichstag Building has been at the heart of German politics since its completion in 1894; this historic edifice symbolizes democracy after being restored following significant damage during World War II. Its importance is underscored by hosting parliamentary sessions today while serving as an architectural marvel featuring a striking glass dome designed by Sir Norman Foster that allows visitors panoramic views over Berlin.
