It was a very pleasant journey on the ICE from Rostock to Hamburg. The seats were very comfortable, the backrests adjustable and there were also footrests. Unfortunately, the on-board restaurant did not have all the products, but the selection was still very large. The quality of the wifi is unfortunately rather poor, but there are power sockets.

I travelled from Rostock to Hamburg on ICE 1677. It was a very short journey, which I personally welcomed. The train was not delayed. There were power sockets and wifi access was available to passengers free of charge. The train was very clean and hygienic. There was a bistro on board, but I did not use it. The service on board was good and the staff friendly.
Pros
IconAir conditioning
Cons
IconSomewhat unpunctual
The journey was with the ICE 1677 in second class, the train was almost empty, which I was very pleased about. The condition of the train was mediocre, but fortunately the air conditioning worked. Because it was very warm. The journey was completed very quickly on the ICE, the train was minimally delayed, which I personally didn't find too bad, as I didn't have to catch a connecting train. The staff were relatively unobtrusive and friendly. There was wifi on the train.

I travelled from Rostock to Hamburg on ICE 1677. The journey was second class. It was a very fast journey considering the distance between the two cities. The train departed on time and arrived on time. It was a clean train with wifi access. I bought a coffee at the on-board bistro, which was delicious. Basically, I can't say anything negative about this journey and therefore rate it with five stars.

Cons
IconComes late from time to time
I travelled the route with the Deutschland Ticket. There is wifi on the connection, but only a few trains have power sockets. Seats are OK and there is a vending machine for food. The staff on the train are mostly friendly. It's a direct connection, so changing trains is not necessary. As I travelled with the Deutschland Ticket, I think the price-performance ratio is good.

Cons
IconHigh capacity utilisation
I found the journey from Rostock Central Station to Hamburg Central Station to be very comfortable. The seats were very clean and I found the toilets to be very hygienic. Furthermore, it was very quiet on the train, even though the train was quite full. The staff were friendly at the check-in and also helped other passengers. There were enough power sockets available and the internet connection was stable. As I didn't have to change trains and the train was on time, the journey was very good for me!
Pros
IconWIFI
IconFriendly staff
Cons
IconDirty WC
The wifi worked well throughout the journey. Unfortunately, my power socket had a loose connection and could therefore not be used. The seats were comfortable and the car was clean. Only the toilet was a little dirty. The train was relatively full, but there were still enough seats available. The staff were friendly for the most part. The train journey went without turbulence and was quiet.

Cons

I found the journey positive throughout. The ICE was equipped with plenty of power sockets and free wifi. The seats are clean and comfortable, the train is generally very clean, even the toilets were quite acceptable, which is often not the case. I was therefore largely satisfied with the journey. I was lucky that my train arrived relatively punctually, which made me very happy.
Pros
IconService
Cons
IconPunctuality
The train journey from Rostock and Hamburg was generally good. The service was very good, very friendly staff and well informed. The seats were comfortable and spacious. As usual, the train was a bit late, but only about five minutes and therefore not dramatic. I was able to put my luggage on specially provided shelves so that I had more space. Overall, I can recommend the journey.
