IconVery fast connection for a RE

Disadvantages

IconNo sockets/ no wifi
IconDelay in Munich of approx. 30 min
I travelled this route with a RE train, which stopped surprisingly rarely and therefore only takes 1.5 hours from Regensburg to Munich. So not much longer than it would take by car. The train and the toilets were very clean, but overall it was unfortunately quite crowded. The seats were also very comfortable for a RE, but unfortunately there were no power sockets and no wifi, although this would also be unusual for a RE. The biggest negative point, however, was the almost 30-minute delay on arrival in Munich, which meant we had to sprint to our connecting train.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconPunctual
Unfortunately, the train for the return journey was a little late. However, I was very positive about the helpfulness of the staff. The wifi was very good for the conditions and I also think that the price was justified. Cleanliness and hygiene get 4 stars from me.
Advantages
IconNot stressful
Disadvantages
IconNone
I can only recommend travelling by train, as there is usually nothing more to complain about. The trains were all on time and travelled according to schedule. In addition, the train itself is clean and everything is thoroughly cleaned. The trains are equipped with working wifi and charging facilities. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. Of course, don't forget that travelling by train takes the stress out of driving, such as traffic jams.
Advantages
IconNo changeover
On my outward journey I had to change trains in Ingolstadt, which I didn't have to do on the return journey, which made it much more relaxed. The seats were comfortable and I had working wifi and charging facilities for my mobile phone. The service was also satisfactory. I can only recommend it.

The journey from Regensburg to Munich was very nice! It was quite sunny that day and I was really glad that the train had inbuilt sun protection, which meant I could sleep a bit during the journey. This was also due to the fact that the train was extremely quiet. I didn't use the toilets on the train itself, but what I saw was relatively clean. I would definitely recommend the journey!

Disadvantages
IconWIFI
A really good journey. The train was on the platform on time and as I was early, I got a seat despite not having a reservation. I was able to stow my luggage above my seat and therefore had plenty of room. The ticket inspector was funny and friendly. I didn't test the toilets, so I can't say anything about them. I was just a little annoyed that the wifi didn't work.

The journey from Regensburg to Munich was a pure pleasure. On-time departure, clean and comfortable train. The seats offered plenty of space, the wifi was stable. Ideal for work and entertainment. The journey through Bavaria's countryside was picturesque, a real highlight. The staff on the train were always friendly and everything ran smoothly. An absolutely recommendable and stress-free travelling experience.
