What I like most is the simplicity. You just sit down on the train and don't have to do anything yourself. You just have to sit back and enjoy the ride. You have enough space and legroom at your seat and usually even wifi. Everything is clean, even in the toilets, and the staff on the train and in the bistro are always nice and helpful. Unfortunately, there are often delays or the trains are cancelled altogether.

I recently travelled from Fulda to Frankfurt am Main. The ICE journey was very cheap. Unfortunately, the whole train journey was not really comfortable... it was very loud in the train and the atmosphere was heated. The wifi didn't work either, which was a shame
