About
Etihad Airways is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, headquartered in Abu Dhabi. Established by royal decree in July 2003, the airline began operations in November of the same year. It serves as one of the two flag carriers of the UAE and is the second-largest airline in the country. Etihad Airways operates flights to over 120 passenger and cargo destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. The airline is wholly owned by the Abu Dhabi government.
