Getting into Milan by Train

Milan is a lively and cosmopolitan city, where the contemporary life of the fashion circuit blends with Milan's historic past, represented by La Scala Opera House and the Duomo Cathedral. Other major attractions for visitors are da Vinci's Last Supper masterpiece in the Basilica of Santa Maria alle Grazie and the Navigli waterways, whose banks are lined with walks, cafes, and shops. Trains from Zurich to Milan arrive at Milano Centrale Station, located in the center of the city's business and government districts and on lines MM2 and MM3 of the Metro. Milan is home to the world's largest tram network, as well as having an extensive system of Metro, rapid transit trains and ATM buses, which operate until around 2:00 a.m. Taxis are located outside Milano Centrale Station.
