Comfort in 1st classI travelled from Zurich to Lucerne on IR 2633, which was on time, so I only needed 41 minutes for the journey. It was also very clean on the train, especially in the toilet. I used my 1st class Interrail ticket as my ticket. Unfortunately, 1st class was not as comfortable as on other trains. There was more legroom and a different design, but non-adjustable fabric seats in a 2+2 seating arrangement.

PriceA great connection if you want to get from Zurich to Lucerne. I booked the connection for my daughter and I over New Year's Eve. The timetable is very good as the trains leave every hour. As is usual in Switzerland, the trains are also very punctual. Fortunately, we caught a very modern train so that we could charge our mobile phones on the way. We travelled for just under an hour and had no problems. The train was very tidy and well maintained.
