We travelled by train because we like to travel in a climate-neutral way. We don't want to miss out on travelling and are therefore happy to use a regional train. The journey went smoothly and we arrived on time. The toilets on the train were clean and accessible at all times. Even the air conditioning worked perfectly.

I often use the route from Stuttgart to Nuremberg privately. The train was very punctual and you get there quickly. There was very good wifi and a USB socket where I could charge my mobile phone. The staff on the train were very nice and courteous. The toilets were very clean and didn't smell unpleasant.

The seats in 1st class were extremely comfortable, with wide cushions, plenty of legroom and adjustable backrests. I was able to relax, read and even sleep for a short time. Wifi was stable throughout and the bistro was only a few steps away. The journey was punctual and pleasantly quiet. For longer journeys, this is the best option for me.

Disadvantages
IconFrequent delays
Travelling by Deutsche Bahn IC from Stuttgart to Nuremberg is quite comfortable, even though the train is usually very full. It is possible to reserve a seat and this is definitely advisable. The compartments are relatively quiet and there is usually an on-board restaurant. The staff are very friendly and take care of possible connections in case of delays, for example. There are several toilets, mostly in good condition. The journey takes about the same time as by car. Delays are unfortunately more frequent, but usually only a few minutes.

Disadvantages
IconNo long-distance service for this route
IconNo internet connection
Unfortunately, there is no long-distance service on the Stuttgart-Nuremberg route, so I had to use the regional service, which took a little longer than usual. The train had comfortable seats, but only power sockets and no internet connection. There was a snack machine in the middle of the train. The train was quite crowded but not too noisy. The cleanliness was acceptable and the staff very friendly. So overall, with no delays, a pleasant journey.

IconFood expensive
IconWCs dirty
The train journey from Stuttgart to Nuremberg was very pleasant. There was a friendly staff, the seat reservation was respected, there was wifi and sockets that worked without problems and it was inexpensive. The seats were comfortable, but in my opinion the comfort of the seats is not enough for more than 4 hours. I didn't have to change trains, which I liked, but the train was late. Deutsche Bahn is just never on time ... The food was expensive, €3.50 for a Coke. In addition, the toilets were not clean, which I find very unfortunate, because I think it is a must at a price of 101 €. Otherwise, the trip was ok.
Advantages
IconComfortable seats with good equipment and snack machine
IconCleanliness in order
IconNo delays and no changes
Disadvantages
Iconunfriendly staff
IconNo announcements
IconExcessive capacity utilisation and volume
The train from Stuttgart to Nuremberg had been very full, so many of the passengers had to stand. It had also been very noisy as a result. The staff had not been very friendly and only carried out random ticket checks. Furthermore, there were no automatic announcements, so the staff were supposed to announce the next stops, but they did not. Otherwise, the seats were very comfortable and well equipped. There was also a snack machine this time. I found the cleanliness to be good. The train had not been delayed. There was also no need to change trains.
Advantages
IconVolume
Disadvantages
IconService
IconPunctuality
Unfortunately, it wasn't such a great experience. It started with the fact that the train was very late and I almost missed my connection. Furthermore, there were no more free seats and I had to stand most of the journey. Not a recommendation from me!
