The train journey was a pleasant experience that pleasantly surprised me. The train compartments were clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and polite during the journey, always endeavouring to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I was particularly impressed by the quietness of the train, which made it possible to relax and read or listen to music. The seats were also comfortable, and although not all areas are modern, the whole thing was enhanced by a friendly atmosphere. The punctual departure and arrival were of course a plus point, especially as there have often been delays in the past. The catering on the train was also pleasant and offered a small selection of snacks and drinks, which made the journey even more enjoyable. All in all, it was a relaxing journey that I would happily make again.

Last year in August, my friend and I travelled from Nuremberg to Hamburg and back on the ICE. Everything went well on the journey and it's a very fast connection. The comfort is very good. We would do the same on our next holiday in Hamburg. There were also no delays on this journey and we were positive about Deutsche Bahn. We then had a great holiday.

I travelled privately from Hamburg to Nuremberg. The train arrived very punctually and the staff on the train were very nice. The train was relatively new and therefore very clean and the seats weren't too dirty. The toilet facilities were also very clean. The prices in the on-board bistro and the ticket price itself are very expensive.

The ride was very relaxed, quiet and pleasant. You could watch the landscape from the window. The staff was very friendly and approachable. The booking of the ticket went smoothly and quickly. The price was reasonable.there was wifi, electricity, as well as a snack bar on board, you could buy a fresh coffee at any time.it was quiet on the train so you could relax and maybe fall asleep. The toilet was clean and there was everything you need for it. A trip I am very happy to recommend.

IconSomewhat unkempt train
I travelled from Hamburg to Nuremberg on ICE 881. The journey was in second class, I was impressed how quickly such a long distance can be completed. The train departed and arrived on time. The appearance of the train was a bit unkempt and also a bit unhygienic. The staff were always friendly. I had made a reservation and kept it.

It was a very pleasant journey from Hamburg to Nuremberg, which didn't take as long as I thought it would. There was wifi on board and also a power socket, the seats were very comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, it was a bit too noisy on the train, so I had to use my headphones. The toilet was very clean and there was plenty of disinfectant and soap as well as paper towels. All in all, a very relaxed and pleasant journey, with all the trimmings. The staff were also very friendly, by the way. My recommendation.
Advantages
IconVery pleasant trip
Disadvantages

I travelled by ICE 2 class from Hamburg to Nuremberg. The journey was very pleasant and, in my opinion, recommendable. The journey dragged on a bit, but it was still faster than by car and also much cheaper. The on-board bistro was open and I bought a coffee. It was a bit expensive, in my opinion. The train looked a bit run down, but was not at capacity. There was plenty of seating available, so I felt very free and very comfortable on the journey. I would very much like to repeat this trip.
Advantages
IconDelicious on-board bistro
Disadvantages
IconWorn seats
I travelled the route directly from Hamburg to Nuremberg by ICE train without changing trains. The journey takes about four and a half hours, which I think is bearable and still faster than by car. I ordered a goulash soup in the on-board bistro, which was not bad. The Deutsche Bahn staff were friendly. The train arrived on time. I travelled second class. The seats in my carriage were a bit worn and should be replaced. The journey itself was pleasant on the whole.
Advantages
IconAir conditioning
Disadvantages
Iconthe train was late
I didn't like one thing and that's the delay, but otherwise I liked everything, so I'll pass on the ride. There was air conditioning which ensured that it didn't get too warm and I thought that was great. The wifi was good and I had a table and also sockets. The food was cheap and good and the whole train was very clean, so that was a great ride. I thank you for this great ride.
Advantages
IconThere was good wifi
IconOn the whole, a quiet atmosphere, I should add.
The seats were very comfortable and there was good wifi. There was also a power socket, but unfortunately I didn't have a charging cable, I can't charge my mobile phone with too. The service staff were very friendly. Prices were all very reasonable and the toilets were also kept very hygienically clean. Price-performance ratio just tops - I can recommend it to others, which is why it gets five stars. I would also like to say that the punctuality of the train was terrific.

The inside of the train was warm, the seats and floors were very clean, everyone was sitting in their seats looking at their phones, the internet performance was very strong, then I went to the toilet and it was hygienically clean, soap and disinfectant were not missing, everything was impeccably clean, this train deserved 5 stars. That was my return journey.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconWIFI
The journey from Hamburg to Nuremberg was very pleasant. The train arrived in Hamburg on time in the morning and the destinations were also reached according to schedule during the rest of the journey. Despite not having a seat reservation, I got a seat on the train and did not have to change it for the entire journey. The seat had a power socket and the noise level in the compartment was also pleasant. The journey went directly from Hamburg to Nuremberg, so there was no need to change trains. The staff were very friendly and I also noticed that they helped other customers in the compartment with questions. The train itself was very clean. Unfortunately, the wifi was not usable on this journey, as the speed was far too slow to use it meaningfully. However, the price of the ticket was very good even without a BahnCard (despite booking at relatively short notice) and the journey was worthwhile overall.
Advantages
Icongreat atmosphere
Iconpleasant volume
Disadvantages
Iconthe train was late
At the beginning I would like to mention the only negative thing, which is that the train was delayed by 15 minutes, but that's not so bad because everything else was great. The atmosphere was great because it was very quiet on the train. The wifi was good. My seat was very comfortable as it had a massage function. The toilets were usable. There was a wide choice of food menus and the food was good. The staff were very friendly. As there was only one negative thing, I am very happy to recommend the trip.
Advantages

IconGood service
Disadvantages
IconPoor wifi
I travelled from Hamburg to Nuremberg and had to change trains twice. This was straightforward as the signs at the stations were very informative. There was also plenty of time available. On board was clean and tidy. The service was extremely good, although the wifi connection was very unreliable. There were picturesque landscapes to see along the route.

I found the journey very pleasant. Both the toilets and the compartment were very clean and hygienic. In addition, the network connection was very stable. I was able to purchase the ticket online at a fair price. This was done without any problems. The train departed on time. My journey took about five hours. I didn't notice anything negative on the whole journey. RECOMMENDATION
