Getting from Paris to Beauvais Airport by train is one of the most straightforward airport transfers from the city. It’s not the closest airport to Paris (that’s why it is often the favourite of low-cost airlines), but the connection is surprisingly easy once you know how it works.

The journey from Paris to Beauvais takes about 1 hour 15 minutes by train, covering roughly 85 kilometers (53 miles). Trains depart from Paris Gare du Nord and arrive at Beauvais station, from where a shuttle connects you to the airport. Really a no-brainer!
I booked my train ticket through Omio, which made it easy to compare departure times and combine the train and onward shuttle connection in one view. Having everything organized in advance helped reduce stress, especially with an early flight like mine was.
Paris Gare du Nord is large and busy, but well signposted so be alert but don't worry too much. I arrived early to avoid confusion and found my platform without issues, ready to begin my journey home. And I also took the opportunity to have one last pain au chocolat!
Beauvais station is small, just as you would expect, and the shuttle to the airport is well organized and clearly marked just outside: I found everything really functional.
