I travelled from Nuremberg to Munich with the ICE 529, it was a journey in second class and without a reservation. The train left without delay and also arrived in Munich on time. The journey took just over an hour, which is very fast. The train itself was in very good condition, the inside was very clean. The service on board could not be complained about, the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, there was no wifi on board.
Advantages
IconFast connection
IconClean train
Disadvantages
IconSomewhat unpunctual
I travelled from Nuremberg to Munich on the ICE 529. It was a very quick journey, just under an hour. I travelled second class, but I found the carriage no less comfortable than the first class one. The seats were comfortable and there was a power socket. The carriage also has wifi. The train was very clean and well-maintained, but it was a bit late, but I was still able to catch my connecting train. The service on board was good.
Advantages
IconCosy
Disadvantages
IconNone
I took the ICE from Nuremberg to Munich. The facilities were great, there was free wifi for the whole journey, which everyone could use, and there was a socket next to the seat where you could charge your mobile phone. In terms of hygiene, it was very clean. The train arrived on time. The price-performance ratio was excellent. The seats were also very comfortable and the train atmosphere was very quiet.
Advantages
IconClean train
IconQuick
Disadvantages
IconUnpunctual
I travelled from Nuremberg to Munich on ICE 529. The journey was in 2nd class. The train was very clean. Basically, the journey is very fast. The train also left on time, but arrived in Munich with a certain delay. However, I was still able to catch my connecting train. The Deutsche Bahn staff were very friendly. I had access to the wifi, which was stable.
Advantages
IconBeautiful time spent
Disadvantages
IconCan't report anything negative
Finding the track number was no problem, I could orientate myself immediately because everything was very well signposted and described. The booking of the online ticket also went smoothly. This journey from Nuremberg to Munich was very pleasant and orderly. I had no wishes left unfulfilled, there was a snack bar as well as clean seats and toilets. I really liked the punctuality of the train and the journey itself. I think I will use this connection more often in the future, as it is relatively fast and very pleasant for this price. I can recommend this connection as I personally liked it very much.
Advantages
IconEverything went smoothly
Disadvantages
IconA bit messy on the train
The journey was relatively smooth, and pleasant. I didn't really have anything to complain about, the staff were very friendly. There was a bar on the train so you could get snacks. It was pleasantly loud on the train, unfortunately there was no wifi and no electricity. The atmosphere was OK, the seats were clean and relatively soft. The toilet was fine, there were paper towels to dry your hands as well as soap and toilet paper. All in all, a pleasant journey.
Advantages
IconRelaxed stress free journey
Disadvantages
IconDirty toilet
It was a pleasant, beautiful journey that I made there. It only took an hour, but it was really nice and pleasant. There was enough space, there is always fresh air, the train was clean, the seats were not run down. On the whole, a very pleasant journey that I make very often, have been very satisfied so far. The train runs reliably and safely. Only the toilet could be a bit cleaner, otherwise everything is perfect.
Advantages
IconFast travel
Disadvantages
IconNone
I made the journey with the Deutsche Bahn ICE. The journey was from Nuremberg to Buchloe, with the first stopover in Munich, so I can evaluate this journey. The journey went very quickly and without complications. The train was in a well-maintained condition. The on-board bistro had coffee, which was, however, extremely expensive. The journey is in second class, but this was not much worse equipped than first class. The train arrived on time.
Advantages
IconComfort
Disadvantages
IconService
I took the ICE from Nuremberg to Munich some time ago. The journey was super pleasant. The seats were very comfortable and the train was clean. The volume in the train was pleasant and we were not delayed. Only the staff was very overloaded and the service was therefore not good.
Advantages
IconComfort
Disadvantages
IconService
My train journey from Nuremberg to Munich was very good. The journey was very comfortable! The wifi worked and the whole train was very clean. The price-performance ratio was also right. The only drawback of the trip was the service, which could have been a bit better.
Advantages
IconShort
Disadvantages
IconPrice
It was actually a very good journey, but unfortunately I had booked at far too short notice and so the ticket was much more expensive than if I had booked it earlier. You should always bear this in mind! Otherwise everything was fine. There was working wifi and sockets that I could use to charge my mobile phone. The toilets were hygienic. I didn't have to change trains and the train was on time. Apart from the price, I am satisfied
Advantages
IconQuiet
Disadvantages
IconNone
I had always assumed that travelling by train was always associated with loud shouting and noise, but this is far from the case. Everything was very quiet on my journey, both the train and the passengers. So quiet, in fact, that I was able to sleep, which I was very happy about. The seats are also comfortable and there is wifi. The price-performance ratio is fair in my opinion. Even as a woman, I felt safe and can only recommend it!
Advantages
IconPunctuality
Disadvantages
IconNone
The return journey was very positive, just like the outward journey. There was good wifi and plenty of options for charging electronic devices. Another positive aspect is that I was able to book my ticket conveniently online. The sanitary facilities and the train itself were very clean. In my opinion, the ticket price was very fair. Overall, I have nothing to criticise about the journey. Conclusion: Recommendation.
Advantages
IconPrice performance
Disadvantages
IconPunctuality
On the whole, I was quite happy with the journey, but one negative point was that the train was unfortunately not on time and so I had a long wait at the station. Otherwise everything was fine, the seats were comfortable and the service was also satisfactory.
Advantages
IconShort journey
Disadvantages
IconPrice performance
The journey was very fast and quiet. You could sit comfortably. The seating area was clean and the staff were friendly. As on the return journey, there was working wifi and working power sockets. The sanitary facilities were also clean and full. But again, although it was less money this time, I don't think the value for money is right as it's only an hour's drive. But otherwise satisfied.
Advantages
IconWIFI
Disadvantages
Icon.
I would like to start with the constant and fast wifi. The staff made the train journey as pleasant as possible. It was quiet and I had a very comfortable seat to myself. Unfortunately, I couldn't overlook the fact that it wasn't very hygienic, which is why I can't give it a full 5 stars. I don't want to say that I didn't enjoy the journey because of this small drawback.
Advantages
IconToilets
IconVolume
Disadvantages
Iconwifi
IconPersonnel
Buying the ticket was very relaxing, I was in a bit of a rush. I got on the train, took off my jacket, went to the loo, the toilets looked acceptable. I went back to my seat, sat down at my work. After a while I was asked for my ticket, the staff were a bit rude, but you can look past that. The wifi only worked at the end of the journey, 15 minutes before entering the station. The price was acceptable. I would give it three out of five stars
Advantages
IconPunctual
IconFast
Disadvantages
IconCleanliness
I often take the Deutsche Bahn offers for my business trips. The first negative thing I have to say is that the train on the way to Munich really wasn't in great condition. The seats were worn and the train was very dirty. On the positive side, the train ran on time and without any disruptions. The connection from Nuremberg to Munich was also fast. There is room for improvement.
Advantages
IconFast drive
Disadvantages
IconUnfortunately, the on-board bistro was not open
I travelled on the ICE1607 and I can't complain as the service was great and very friendly to me. The wifi worked. Unfortunately, only the on-board bistro was closed and I was hungry, but as the journey only took a little over an hour, that was fine with me
Advantages
IconFast
IconPleasant journey
Disadvantages
IconTrain very full
IconDelay
I travelled from Nuremberg to Munich on the ICE 621. Thanks to the new ICE route, the journey only takes just over an hour, which is totally pleasant. The ICE was equipped with power sockets and comfortably upholstered seats. However, due to the weather conditions, the train was delayed by 3/4 of an hour, which was very annoying. The train was very full as a result and it was quite noisy.
Advantages
IconFast
Disadvantages
IconDelay
I took the ICE from Nuremberg to Munich. The online ticket was quick, easy and convenient to book. The train left Nuremberg Central Station on time, but arrived at Munich Central Station a little late. The journey took about 80 minutes without changing trains. The ticket inspection was quick and easy. In contrast to some other trains, the WC was really okay. I would gladly travel again.
Advantages
IconPunctual
Disadvantages
IconVery loud in the compartment
The train journey was very exhausting. It was so loud in the compartment that I couldn't even watch my series properly. The toilet was very smelly and there was wet toilet paper on the floor. Fortunately, it didn't stink in the compartment itself. The conductor was friendly to me. Fortunately, we arrived at our destination, Munich Central Station, almost on time. The power socket worked, as did the wifi.
Advantages
IconPersonnel
Disadvantages
IconToo late
I would actually like to travel by train more often, but you just can't rely on it. My train was late again this time and I had to wait almost forty minutes for it to finally arrive. Fortunately, the train itself had reasonably clean seats, which were also quite comfortable. The staff were friendly and also apologised for the delay. It was a shame that the wifi wasn't working.
Advantages
IconFast drive
IconBeautiful view
Disadvantages
IconPrice was okay
The ride is really nice, as the landscape around Munich is also really beautiful to look at. It makes the already fast journey even more enjoyable and allows you to relax. It was also quiet and pleasant on the train. As so often, the service was polite and friendly, so I can't complain about that and it was to my complete satisfaction. The wifi also worked great!
Advantages
IconPrice
IconDuration
Disadvantages
IconService
A quick and successful journey. The train was at the platform relatively punctually, I got on and then I set off without further ado, the ticket inspector was friendly but got a bit impatient after I didn't have my ticket straight away. The seats were comfortable and I arrived in Munich on time. I have to say that the price was very appealing to me in terms of value for money.
