The ICE journey from Nuremberg to Berlin was pleasant, but the air conditioning was a little too cool, which was a disadvantage for me. Overall, however, I was very satisfied. The train arrived at the scheduled time and the journey was over quickly. The seat was very comfortable and I had plenty of legroom. I found it particularly positive that it was quiet on the train and that I could read well. The on-board bistro also offered a good selection of snacks and drinks.

Unfortunately, the train journey was rather disappointing. The train was full, stuffy and it was just loud, there was a noisy group sitting next to me, no chance of peace and quiet. Wifi didn't work, despite several attempts. The toilet was totally filthy and without paper. At least the on-board bistro was there, but there was hardly any choice. The price was quite reasonable. I would have travelled longer in the car, but it was definitely more comfortable.

Unfortunately, the train journey was not as good as I had hoped. Fortunately, I didn't have to change trains, but the rest of the journey wasn't right. The legroom was very limited, which made the journey quite uncomfortable. The wifi constantly dropped out and was barely usable. The service seemed stressed and not very friendly. It was also far too loud in the car, so I could hardly relax. There is definitely room for improvement.

I was on tour with my bike and travelled the route from Nuremberg to Berlin by train and it worked really well. Taking my bike on the train was straightforward, the space was well organised and my bike was safe. The train was clean, quiet and comfortable, wifi worked and the toilets were fine. The punctuality was also good, we arrived exactly on time. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when boarding with the bike. The noise level was also pleasant. It was really ideal for me as a cycle traveller. A clear recommendation!

I travelled to Berlin with two friends for a four-day trip. The ICE was the best option for us because it was relatively cheap due to early booking and the quickest option to get to Berlin by land (approx. 3 hours). What I liked best about the journey was the comfort on the ICE and the incredible speed of the train. I was a bit hungry and wanted to buy a sandwich in the board bistro, which was unfortunately relatively expensive but delicious. I set off at around 11.00 a.m. and arrived in Berlin at around 2.00 p.m. The journey was very comfortable as the seats were comfortable and the toilets and the train as a whole were clean. There was also fast wifi and the possibility to charge your devices. I really liked that. The train was also very punctual both on departure and arrival, which I also really liked. The service was good overall. I paid around €25, which I think is very fair for the overall experience.

Unfortunately, my train journey was rather disappointing. The connection was basically okay, but due to a delay of over an hour, I arrived much later than planned. The comfort left a lot to be desired, cramped seats and a rather run-down carriage. Although wifi was available, it only worked sporadically. The toilets were in poor condition, which made the journey even more unpleasant. Unfortunately, there was no on-board bistro, which was really missing on a longer journey. Overall, not a convincing experience. The price-performance ratio was simply not there. Disappointingly, not as good as my outward journey.

The wifi worked well, which allowed me to work during the journey. The journey itself was on time and quiet, and I was able to enjoy the beautiful scenery through the windows. The length of the journey flew by. One small downside was the high ticket prices. This can be a hurdle for travellers on a budget. Nevertheless, for me the positive aspects of the journey, such as comfort and reliability, outweigh the disadvantages.

The train journey was a complete success. On-time departure, very clean carriage and a pleasantly quiet compartment. That makes travelling by train fun.

Wifi was very good. Delay was not so bad, I reached my connecting train. The ticket inspector was very nice and understandable. I travelled in the €9 ticket period, so the train was very crowded, but nowadays that should be better. All in all, a very pleasant journey.

I travelled by Deustchen Bahn from Nuremberg to Berlin more than a year ago and I have to say that the journey was quite pleasant and comfortable and the price was also good, but there were a few things that stood out negatively. The positive comments were that there was wifi, the train was very punctual and the staff were friendly and helpful. For being 2nd class, the seats were very comfortable, so you could sit on them for a long time without any discomfort. And the negative comments were that the food was a bit expensive and the toilets lacked hygiene. What was also good was that the seat reservation was very easy. The thing I liked most was the value for money. Overall, I can say that the trip was very good and I would recommend it.

What I really liked was the food, as there were many desserts, dishes and drinks. I had a lot of space for myself and my luggage. I also liked the speed of the train, as it was not too fast. The best thing was the good wifi and the nice staff. This trip was great, so I give it a recommendation.

I recently took the ICE from Nuremberg to Berlin. The facilities on the train were great! Wifi worked, there were power sockets and the hygienic condition was very good. This was my return journey in second class and I really enjoyed it. My train arrived on time and I didn't notice anything negative. The prices on the menu were reasonable and the food was delicious. The wifi was good and the seats were comfortable. I can happily pass on the ride. Also, it was very clean. In addition, the staff was very nice and did a good job.

I had to travel from Nuremberg main station to Berlin main station a few months ago to pick up something... I could have gone by car, but I found it much more comfortable by train... The ICE was very clean (even the toilets) and everything was hygienic. The train staff were also very friendly and everything worked very well. However, we had to contend with a delay of about an hour due to thunderstorms... But the DB app helped when looking for connecting buses.
Advantages

Iconkind staff
That was my return trip and since I liked it very much, it gets 5 stars. I can also recommend it to others. I really liked the wifi as it had full bars throughout. The staff were very nice. I also really liked my meal and my drink. My train was also on time. Cleanliness was paramount, so it was really very clean. For all the positive reasons, I can only pass on the ride. Great ride!
Advantages
Iconthe observance of hygiene
IconVery good internet
I liked the wifi best, as it had full bars throughout and I had no problem downloading anything. There was also a lot of attention paid to hygiene, for example with disinfectant. The toilets were very clean and there were many. The staff were very nice and also very friendly. I liked my coffee very much. My train also arrived on time. I really enjoyed this trip, which is why it gets 5 stars and of course I can recommend it to others. Moreover, this was my return journey.
Advantages
Iconkind staff
Icona lot of room
That was my return journey and it was really great. I loved that I was very comfortable and had a lot of space. Also, the staff were very humorous and entertaining. You had many options to order something and I really liked the red button, because you had to press a red button and then a staff member came. The train also looked very nice. I didn't notice anything negative, so I recommend the trip. My ticket was also cheap and I would also like to mention the punctuality of the train.
Advantages
IconClean toilet
IconPleasant journey
Disadvantages
IconTrain did not open the doors at first
The journey from Nuremberg to Berlin was very pleasant. The seats were very comfortable. The noise level was very low and it was pleasantly warm. The power socket worked at my seat. The wifi also worked, but it was very poor and kept disconnecting from my mobile phone. The train arrived on time. However, the doors did not open. So I had to wait for a later train. Therefore only 2 stars.
Advantages
IconVery clean
IconGood comfort
IconCourteous staff
Disadvantages
IconPoor service attention
IconTrain delay
IconExpensive ticket
My experience on the return journey from Nuremberg to Berlin was again characterised by both positive and challenging moments. The cleanliness of the train again deserves praise, the compartments were well maintained and the toilets were well looked after. There were noticeable improvements in terms of comfort. The seats were more comfortable and there were more power sockets, which made the journey much more pleasant. The journey time was acceptable, but there were again punctuality issues that affected the schedule. The price-performance ratio was slightly better than on the outward journey, but still not ideal. The prices were high and some points could still be improved. Unfortunately, the service on the return journey fell short of expectations. The staff were polite, but again lacked attention for the passengers. In summary, the return journey from Nuremberg to Berlin was overall improved, but there is still room for optimisation, especially in terms of service quality, punctuality and pricing. This time, however, I will at least recommend the journey with attention to these points.

I travelled on this ICE today. It wasn't quite on time, but that wasn't a problem for me. The train staff were very polite. The seats are very comfortable and the volume in first class is very reasonable. I am very satisfied and can recommend it to anyone.
