A few months ago I took a trip with Deutsche Bahn from Munich to Rust. I was very pleased with the service because the staff were very friendly. The price of the ticket was very good. In my opinion, good value. The volume on the train was optimal. Disappointingly, the train did not arrive in Rust on time. There was a lot of need to change trains, which made the journey difficult. Hygiene was not taken care of well enough, as the toilets were not maintained and smelled very bad.

The trip revealed an ambivalence in the experience. The somewhat high price and the less than accommodating staff clouded the picture. In addition, the punctuality of the train left a lot to be desired, which further detracted from the overall impression. On a positive note, there was little need to change trains and the train was reasonably quiet. The reservation options proved to be pleasing, and the seat quality with its high level of comfort and well-kept condition was outstanding. The wifi connection was efficient. The emphasis on hygiene, particularly in the well-maintained WCs, stood out positively and helped to balance the experience. Despite some weaknesses, there were appealing elements that put the trip in a balanced light.
