The train journey from Kiel to Munich was a mixed experience. The train's equipment was modern and comfortable. Comfortable seats and enough space for luggage added to the pleasant comfort. However, the service on board was somewhat disappointing. Staff were not particularly attentive and food options were limited. The cleanliness of the train left much to be desired. The floors and tables were clearly not cleaned regularly, which detracted from the overall experience. The journey time was reasonable, but clearer information about stopovers and delays could have been helpful. In terms of value for money, the train journey was somewhat disappointing. Ticket prices were quite high, especially considering the shortcomings in service and cleanliness. Despite the positives such as the facilities and comfort, improvements would need to be made in other areas to make the overall experience truly worthwhile.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful, which made the service even more pleasant.
