I particularly liked this train connection because I could easily reserve and print my ticket online. The train was on time and looked tidy, the toilets were clean and well maintained, the floor must have been freshly mopped, the seats very comfortable and soft, I reached my destination very quickly and was very satisfied with this train connection, hence my recommendation.

I am a regular customer of Deutsche Bahn and therefore decided to travel with them from Munich to Darmstadt this time as well. The first thing to mention is the friendliness of the staff. They checked the tickets in a nice way. They greeted their customers and addressed them politely. The price of the ticket also excited me, because in my opinion the price was cheap compared to other providers. I'm train was very calm and pleasantly quiet. Unfortunately, there were some transfer necessities that made the journey difficult. Also, the train did not arrive in Darmstadt on time. The train was delayed by about thirty minutes. In addition, I noticed that the seats on the train were not well maintained. This is because I could see old chocolate stains or food residue. All in all, a satisfactory journey.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconEverything went perfectly
The train connection from Munich to Darmstadt was very punctual. The train departed and arrived at the scheduled time, which is very important. The cleanliness of the train was generally very satisfactory. The seats as well as the floor were cleaned regularly and the train compartments were largely free of rubbish. The train offered power sockets at most seats, which is very convenient for business travellers and travellers with electronic devices. Unfortunately, not all sockets were always functional. The toilets on the train were clean and well maintained. There were enough toilets for passengers, although they were sometimes very crowded during peak times. The train offered free wifi, which was of great benefit to many passengers. Overall, the train journey from Munich to Darmstadt was a very pleasant experience.

IconOn time and fast
The train arrived on time, without any delays, and also departed on time. The train was very spacious and clean, which made it feel comfortable. The toilets were very clean and almost always accessible. My seat was very comfortable, with a nice armrest and a comfortable headrest. The staff were very friendly and respectful to me. I arrived at my destination on time and made my appointment on time. A very good train connection.

IconFast and punctual
The train connection was very punctual overall. The train reached its destination almost exactly at the scheduled arrival time. The price-performance ratio of the ticket was excellent. The cost was in a fair proportion to the services offered and the quality of the journey. The train was generally clean and well maintained. However, there was some soiling on the seats. The wifi on the train was available but the connection during the journey was occasionally unstable. The toilets on the train were clean and well equipped. There was plenty of toilet paper and soap. The seats on the train were comfortable and offered enough space. The ability to recline the seat contributed to a pleasant travelling experience. Overall, the train journey with Deutsche Bahn was a positive experience. Minor improvement in the area of wifi stability and WC could improve the quality.

I travelled from Munich to Darmstadt by IC train and must say that I have very fond memories of this journey. The staff were friendly and helpful. My train connection from Munich to Darmstadt was very punctual. It was well signposted and there was good accessibility for people with reduced mobility. The train doors were nice and wide and there were lifts. My seat was quickly found, which was very clean looking, comfortable and soft. The train staff were very helpful and friendly. The toilet facilities were tidy and clean and there was all the catering I needed. The train reached my destination on time, which was very positive. My conclusion: a very comfortable and high-quality train connection.

This travelling experience was one of the best I've ever had on trains in Germany. It was the journey from Munich to Darmstadt. The service was very good as the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and even brought coffee to your seat. There were no delays. The train was very modern, equipped with extremely ergonomic seats and a very well-controlled air conditioning system that ensured pleasant room temperatures. I can recommend this connection with a clear conscience.
Advantages
IconBeautiful landscapes
IconModern train
Disadvantages
IconHigh capacity utilisation
The train journey from Munich to Darmstadt went smoothly for the most part, with modern trains offering a fast and comfortable connection. The seats were more ergonomically designed and the power sockets at the seat made it possible to work or charge devices while travelling. However, the train was a little overcrowded, which reduced comfort. Despite this shortcoming, the route is known for its efficiency and scenic journey through the Bavarian and Hessian hinterland.
