You don't have to change trains and the punctuality of Deutsche Bahn was also not a problem on this trip. I can only recommend the journey from Mainz main station to Frankfurt main station.

DelayI travelled on 30.11.22 with this ticket. I have travelled with it several times and have to say that the train is very often delayed. But there are also cancellations, which is not uncommon, so if you have to go to an important appointment, you have to allow 1 -2 hours so that it is really certain that you will arrive. Unfortunately, the prices have also been increased, which is a real shame. The seats are the same as always, so nothing special, but nothing negative either. The wifi, however, is very poor and content takes several seconds to load. I haven't used the toilets yet, but they seem clean. There are also power sockets sometimes, so you can charge your laptop or mobile phone. All in all, it's okay, but it's also time-consuming. So you can use it as an alternative to the car.
