Go Ahead's IRE 1 is the new "cheaper" company for DB Regio. And you notice that as a passenger. You suddenly wish for the DB back, which was usually "only" 5-10 minutes late. But with Go Ahead it's a gamble. The trains are modern. There are working power sockets on the 4-seater seats. The staff is also friendly, but that doesn't make up for the delays and cancellations or stops because something broke on the train. It worked well for a while and then it started again with train cancellations and delays. It's just annoying.
