Disadvantages
IconNo more restaurant
As always, the staff were very nice, helpful and communicative. The train was clean and hygienic. The wifi worked just as well as the power sockets. The Intercity from today to Hamburg was very punctual. You don't have to change trains between Heide and Hamburg. The journey took about 1 hour and 40 minutes. There were enough free seats, which were very comfortable and had enough seating space. A seat reservation would definitely have been possible. The price for the journey was definitely okay. Unfortunately, there has been no restaurant on Intercity trains since December 2023. Alternatively, there is a small "snack point", but this cannot be compared to a restaurant. There is no possibility to sit down at the snack point.
Advantages
IconClean train
IconPunctual departure and arrival
IconWide selection of food and drinks
Disadvantages
IconWC not clean
IconIncreased prices in the on-board restaurant
IconSeat selection
The train had plenty of power sockets and the wifi also worked well throughout the journey. This enabled me to work productively. As the train was full, there weren't many free seats. But still enough. The on-board bistro also offered a wide selection of food and drinks. However, the prices were a little high. The train departed on time and reached its destination on time. Unfortunately, one of the toilets was dirty, but there were plenty of alternatives.
