I took the ICE from Frankfurt am Main back to Augsburg after a 7-day stay. The journey was very relaxing in the comfortable seats and thanks to the air conditioning. The train was clean and tidy, but the rubbish bin at my seat was overflowing and not emptied.

I was in Frankfurt almost a year ago because I'm a huge Eintracht Frankfurt fan and so I wanted to go straight on to Augsburg for another Eintracht game after a home game. I think you can just save a lot of money with the train journeys, have excellent catering and maybe get into any city centre. Only delays or hold-ups sometimes cause stress. And the poor wifi and noise on the train make it impossible to rest.

I was very happy with my train journey. What struck me immediately was that the train was very clean inside, which was the same in the toilet. I found the seats very comfortable and pleasant to sit on. The train staff were nice and courteous. I didn't have to wait long for the train as it arrived on time without being late. The volume on the train was also quite pleasant.
