The price was really fair and didn't put too much strain on my wallet. But, here comes the "but", the internet on the train was unfortunately pretty weak. That was a bit annoying, especially if you want to work or be online while travelling. Still, if you like good service, cleanliness and a cheap price and can put up with the weak internet, this train ticket is a good choice. I would use it again.

If you book this route early, the price is unbeatably cheap, so the question of travelling by bus does not arise at all. As the trains run frequently, an ICE cancellation is not quite so tragic.

As in every ICE, there was an on-board bistro, wifi and also power sockets so that I could work there. The staff and cleanliness were okay.
